It is also worth noting that our production costs were higher as the dollar / SA rand was in a less favourable situation in terms of income to Bushveld Minerals.

The market at some point will realise that we are going to be producing record amounts of vanadium and if we are right that the VRFB energy storage market opens up post Covid19 then the demand for vanadium will increase quickly and this company is one of the best placed in the world to make the best of the situation.

Currently, we are the only vertically and horizontally integrated vanadium mining and production company.

The Enerox deal is very close and the opportunities with Invinity are going to be very good indeed.

The opening of Mokopane in 2021 looks highly likely and it has been mentioned 2 years ago that there are offtake options in place for the ore (of course that was before we had Vanchem which can process the ore). So it will have instant revenue right from the off.

When the SP does rise, it is likely to jump quickly to a far more sensible level. It might surprise a few.

There are two points with respect to listing in two exchanges we should be aware of:
1. Dual-listed companies need to SETS as apposed to SEAQ (which most AIM companies currently use - https://aim-watch.com/project/seaq-sets-setsqx/ - this is automated (that is no Market Marker), it also inevitable leads to moving from AIM to the FTSE market, which is where a fast-growing Biotech company would want to be. The company would have to comply with international accounting and stock market requirements which are more stringent than those applicable to AIM-listed companies.
2. FTSE listed companies would mean that on purchase of new shares you would have to pay stamp duty
3. There are no restrictions on buying internationally listed shares in an ISA (AIM, FTSE, Funds, Bonds). You can buy shares from any company in the world in an ISA if you have the right paperwork filled in with your broker. Hargreaves and Lansdown allow this facility which I have used.

It would be very good for investors who are looking at Avacta as a long term investment to be FTSE listed. Although many new AIM investors would be less likely to invest. But fund managers would be then much more likely to build large stakes in the company. Many will not want to get involved with AIM-listed stocks where the risks are far too high and the market makers can take control in a somewhat would often seem illogical way to move the price and spread as they wish.

I would hope that this is an option for 2021 for Avacta. If it was inevitable for 2020 they would have announced this in the AGM and it would have been mentioned in last weeks presentation in my experience.

His expertise in this field (30 years of R&D Pharma experience is not found on share chat boards!), is one of the key decision points for me to invest here. I know from our many shared inputs that you hold solid and well-judged research in an investment. I as many first found this investment through mentions on other boards. Initially, I dismissed Avacta as another Covid19 want to be, which was going to be the next one to get pumped and dumped. However, I did a few days of solid research and found a very sound management team with innovation in multiple aspects of diagnosis tools and what is likely to be the most important step-change in cancer treatment I have ever come across. This was and still is my primary reason to invest in Avacta. Today and this year the focus is on one of the most revolutionary super fast and very accurate Antigen Covid19 test tools which will be able to be used by everyone not just medical people. This Lateral Flow Device using the patented Affirmer technology looks like it will become the world best selling test which will get the world closer to normal life than any other test or development I have ever seen.
Success for this product is basically a formality and Avacta has one platform confirmed for the LFD - Point of Care tests with Cytiva and we are expected to hear from two more partners within days. This will give global coverage.
I do not jump into investments with a substantial funds on a whim as we work hard for our money. But this company like our other investment has huge long term potential and will make a significant difference to our planet and the people who we share it with.

I think there are a number of extremely well informed investors from multiple boards who have found this incredible biotech company and seen its potential. The fact that a number of high net worth individuals from another AIM success story are all building strong investments here is a very good indicator for smaller holders here. It reinforces if there is any need to the clear upside and long term prospects for Avacta. This year and for many years ahead.
It is how the story is shared and delivery of the results which make this so exciting.

A company who are involved in the world of vanadium!
- Bushveld Minerals are a "Profitable Vertically Integrated Vanadium Business!"
- With 3 mines – Vametco, Brits and Mokopane
- Nitrovan is a key product to strengthen steel from its Vametco Mine
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld has two processing plants Vametco 3200 mtV and Vanchem 1100 mtV - currently producing a combination of 4300 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operating cost of circa US$19 – but operation costs are now much lower in 2020

In the recent presentation by Alastair Smith the expected market potential for the POC Lateral Flow Device testing is expected to be circa 100 million tests (units) per month!

Banjowest that is true. They will be able to produce Affirmers very quickly for new virus strains and mist likely any new ones. As Ophidian has stated with the LFD - POC test the test is either positive or negative so totally binary in its use.
Future partnerships and ones fully developed in future will mean super fast responses using the Affirmer technology. This is great for long term future options for partnerships.
Good news for investors and the global response to any future virus outbreaks.
Alastair has stated the hard work is done, so the application and legislative approval are just a formal process which has to take place. So in just a few weeks this will be going main stream and should become the worlds best selling Covid19 test system.

LL&P, you should listen to the presentation I gave the link to with respect to the choices of the Affirmer’s chosen by the Avacta team to work with the Cytiva Lateral Flow Device platform. It testing they show the highest detection rates possible. Alastair Smith addresses this very question.
The Affirmer tests have the capacity to replace the PCR test. The reason they sent 50 samples to Cytiva so they could chose the perfect match. We will see the same with other LFD manufactures very soon. Expecting at least two more partnerships coming very soon!

When considering a balanced approach to pharmaceutical companies and Biotech companies two well-placed funds which include all the big companies in the world and some game-changers which have always had a place in my portfolio and different times are AXA Framlington Healthcare and AXA Framlington Biotech.
As Privite Investors it is hard to get the balance right and many companies are list in the US or other overseas exchanges so these to funds a great place to get balanced exposure. AXA Framlingto Healthcare has grown in the last 3 weeks - 15%. Just to say though Avacta has grown by 64%.
In the next 3 months, Avacta may have grown by another 400%, The large pharma stocks may have grown another 15 to 25%. But generally, they are great defensive funds to have right now. Funds just go about there business, individual stocks have flow and ebb and much larger risks! Will be interesting to look back to April 2020 in December and see how these companies and funds are performing!

Avacta though looks to have its future set on a very fast and strong trajectory based on multiple revenue streams all of which are going to disrupt the current therapeutics and diagnostic sides of the pharmaceutical world. That does not happen often but based on this weeks presentation it looks highly likely!

The only investment advice we can give each other is to choose wisely and research well! Only you chose what to buy and what to sell. So use your head and only invest what you could afford to lose! Nobody knows the future!

Hi Knuttie,
From my own portfolio no. My holding is the same. I had new money to invest which went into NYCT I managed a 400% increase on that and then moved money across to Avacta at the perfect moment. I also had other investments in funds which I have reduced.
It is very tempting to move money out of a slow burner to the current best opportunity on AIM due to its multiple income opportunities and that fact they are going to change chemotherapy administration to a new way which would have changed our ladies treatment for the better.
However, my investment build up here in Bushveld is impossible for me to give up, as I truly believe in this company and what it is and will deliver.
My wife however has moved here BMN to Avacta. Given what she has gone through it was a move, I respected. I am sure many knowing our circumstances would respect.
I hope this honest and positive response is acceptable to all!
I have 100% confidence here. I will increase my holding as the world gets back to normal.

Good evening all,
I can inform you all just because certain posters are not seen here as much, you can be sure the research and knowledge is building. It is also very clear that VRFB’s are on the cusp of multiple new projects around the world coming to fruition.
This board is wasted on so many visiting investors on AIM who are so fickle and it is clear that the great research here has been wasted.
So many doubters have just come continued to wash out the great work and research. So it becomes wasted.
I can based on continued research be sure that our time will come and once the Covid19 virus is behind us energy storage will be game changer around the world as infrastructure changes.
I am still super positive about the future.
Fortune and his team are still doing a great job and I am 100% behind their progress.
