RE: More Webcast Notes6 May 2020 21:45
This detailed update on the company this afternoon was a superb insight into what I have been underlining for some time. This company has so much to offer through its partnerships. There were multiple hints again in the presentation on values of the potential markets they are entering and in each case they are offering unique selling points and products and technologies that are market-disrupting but which can be applied through either new or existing platforms.
I know someone on the forum here the other day said they are like offering an operating system which can perform on many existing technologies which are key to fast rollouts on some platforms. Other products are clearly going to be unique. But once approved will become the market leader. Just one part of the chemotherapy world - AST, Breast and Ovarian cancer the EU/ US market potential is unfortunately $1.5 billion.
The Affirmer projects with LG Chem just on licensing up to $310 million. Then the project with ADC backed by Astra Zenica for PBD Warheads - loaded affirmer drugs $500 million. Then you have the JV which Avacta hold 45% of the business but the finance is provided by venture capitalists where the market potential is still too large to actually pinpoint as there are NDA's in place so the market information can't be shared. The huge project with Affirmers with Moderna which again will give drug deliveries for mRNA deliery is still progressing.
There are existing 5 other Affirmer evaluations progressing, 17 other projects already delivered for evaluation, and a further 7 development projects initiated!
All of the above are ahead of the multiple partners for Affirmers to detect Covid19 using Antigen tests. None partners are:
Cytiva
Adeptrix - with distribution through 4 Mass Spectrometer suppliers
But still, there are other partners which discussions are underway with (one I hinted at the other evening)!
The upside potential and scale here is like no other company I have ever researched!
The opportunities for success in so many areas are incredible. I do hope if you have not had a chance to watch this you are able to soon.
The one question I would ask is also when are we moving to the FTSE? But, given how busy Alastair Smith is right know with the team. I am not sure they have time to even look at that!
This is certainly a long term hold. Yes, we have some very strong upside coming very soon, but the long term upside would take years of hit and miss with other AIM companies. I think I am going to be very content to hold this for years to come!
If you haven't bought in after that presentation. You should not be even looking at investments and should give up your investment hobbies or careers! Just use an ISA or SIPP or you will be paying a lot of capital gains tax!
Not advice just a very sincere opinion!
Cheers, RK
