Well hello all!
I was the man who suggested such valuations.
This I have to say was based on increasing production to 5000 mtV in 2019 and to note that the FeV price was over $100 per kilo and taking all other news into consideration.
Things are different at the moment so £2 is unlikely. It should be noted I said £1.60 to £2

I still see £1.30 to £1.60 as possible by year end but it depends on how 2018 results are seen in the market and also how large the influx of new investors is following the dividend policy and JSE listing.

To be very fair with the upside potential these figures are completely on track. Some may be super pessimistic and not understand what the business can bring from the market and that is fine. I am not worried either way as it is all part of the long term strategy which we have predicted and is being played out based on confirmation from today and what will come.

I may comment more later.

The Mokopane licence has far too many complications and legal aspects which makes it very complicated.

The key here is the fact that assuming the ANC remaining in power and the clear drive to create new jobs and build a new business focused South Africa will encourage devepment of new opportunities like Mokopane. With the focus on renewable energy and the benefits of combining VRFB success in Africa it should help focus the need beyond any doubt. This is why I feel that late in 2019 we may finally see the licence finally granted.

This is no guarantee just that positive feeling. But timing wise it would work very well indeed.

• This is possibly for many investors one the most significant news item as it is news which opens up the structure to make Bushveld Minerals attractive to pension fund managers and will draw in significant number of new investors
• As Private Investors we are excited also to see how the company will develop this strategy as it will reward many faithful long term investors who have been hear from the early days and give confidence to new ones!

Brownfield Investment
• It is thought by the recent indications that Bushveld Minerals will develop Vametco with plant expansion to include a new Rotary Kiln to increase the plant capacity to 10,000 mtV.
• Another Brownfield option has been hinted at multiple times and it would be interesting to see this come to fruition in 2019

Bushveld Energy Update
Including updates on:
• Statement on VRFB on test at Eskom
• Progress on the electrolyte plant at the ELDZ including completion of the environmental study, timings for construction of the plant and estimated start of phase 1 production for 200 MWh
• News on the leasing business for the electrolyte

Is the environmental study completed? That is the key piece of information once completed and accepted they can proceed with the build.

But Redt has a Mcap of 12M. It rose by 50% on Friday too.

I am super positive about BMN and the Eskom contracts are a potentially huge for BE. But that will not double our MCap when that happens. Why because we will already have a mcap over £1 billion by then.

In the long term as they are delivered and more contracts come then this is more than realistic. But it will be in conjunction with other aspects of our growth curve.

We have a hugely sustainable growth program which is vertically integrated. I fear that REDt may not be so sure footed unfortunately for them.

Let’s see.

I am with you Ophidian. I strongly believe that we will see a token dividend paid in 2019 for 2018 accounts. I think this would be announced after the 2018 audited accounts are completed in June.

However, If Bushy really wanted to up the anti, they could announce the policy and make a statement that subject to the completion of the accounts they will pay a nominal payment in 2019, which will be announced in due course. The full policy will be implemented from 2020.

This would reward all current investors and create a huge reason for new investors to come on board.

The policy is very important for all current and new investors and its significance cannot be underrated. With the news coming, it sets us apart from other AIM companies and the potential inrush of new investors that may well come. They will likely have sticky hands as they will want to be here for the dividends.

The JSE listing will bring in a large wave of large investors from SA and they will want to know that they will be well rewarded both from income and capital growth. From what we know at this point, they are going to be joining an incredible company which they will be able to be very proud of.

Let's see what happens next...

I see on the daily news posted earlier by PB940 and the daily email I have just read that SP Angel has increased our rating from:

BUY to STRONG BUY. This is the first time I have seen them give such a strong indication!

I would agree it is looking like a very STRONG BUY.

The picture here is one of a massive industry in its infancy. We haven to be one of the key foundation stones in this market with a resource base of 440 Mt of ore relating to approximately 7.5 mtV. This with our mine, resource in the ground, electrolyte manufacturing plant in progress and a VRFB assembly plant in concept surely in the best possible position to be at the centre of the colossal market as it develops.
The vertically integrated position will be unique in the next two years and give us the best position to capitalise on this with careful management and industry insight. Which is exactly what we have.
This story really is only half told.

The market will truly wake up very soon. Y es we have lots of very exciting news ahead of us as I have already listed based on every item we know. The vanadium price has softened recently after its peak in November, but very soon the pressure will increase and the vanadium prices will lift again. Even when the global market appears to be slowing down, large countries will continue to invest heavily in major infrastructure projects. This in turn lifts the global construction industry which will need more rebar, and the this will bring pressure on the vanadium prices again. I don’t expect just yet a huge step up but we can expect I think a rise to around the $100 per kilo. The only thing which will reduce the pressure is if there are new suppliers found quickly. This still looks unlikely as the new players will need a lot of time to get to where we are currently.
In the next two years higher prices will add to our profits significantly, which will be illustrated when the 2018 financial results are released. With investment at Vametco soon realising finally a lift in production this will put us in a very strong position. Then if the heavily hinted brownfield plant does get announced with potential to process potentially more than double Vametco’s current output this will put us in a very strong position to supply the electrolyte plant as well as additional steel clients.
If you add these announcements to the 2018 financials you have the visible strength that Bushveld Minerals investors on here have been forecasting for many months and we could see finally the stock price lifted to a more reasonable value which to be frank is way above the current broker target as this is only based on Vametco and 3750 mtV.
If you then look forward 12 months and the electrolyte plant is likely to be complete this time next year and the market for VRFB technology will be even more on topic then as a move towards technology weighing could happen.
Unlike “normal” expanding businesses this one has a read made market which is even more on topic due to the power generation issues in South Africa. If we look at how quickly solar and wind projects can be installed with VRFB ESS in place the ingredients in this cake are going to ensure it becomes perfectly risen.
Bushveld Minerals as the potential to be one of the biggest success stories in South Africa in the 20’s.
We keep saying investors need to be patient here, but the time is coming soon. This week has the potential to be very interesting, but the next 6 months could unlock news which will be beyond our expectations.
I truly expect by 2021/2 to see this company reaching its goals and being the largest vanadium based business in the world with potential to expand further.
So expect our market cap to rise!

Brownfield options -
I was looking at Vanchem on Google Maps - certainly a dark place - located approximately 40 miles to the east of Pretoria. It is around 60 miles from Vametco so logistics are possible by road. But it is a long way to transport the ore. It brings the question of what the condition of the plant would be and is it close enough. There look to be two Kilns so this would likly have a good processing potential.

People have disused Mapochs but this looks just like a mine and there does not look to be a kiln at this location. The ideal solution would be much closer to the Brits area. But there does not look to be an option!

The Everaz Highveld Steel and Vanadium plant is very close to Vanchem, mentioned earlier by Tyfoon, looks to have 3 Kilns from the ariel view.

It does open up lots of options and it makes you wonder which plant will give Bushveld Minerals the options they need to be able to process the ore quickly and efficiently.

I look forward to hearing the update in due course. The unlocking of higher processing capacity will be critical to accelerating the growth of the business and feeding the electrolyte plant.

Exciting times indeed.
