I shall put my IQ to work trying to work out the answer. A nice little challenge.
One of my favourite parts of the world is Wharfedale, where my mother came from, a farmer's daughter. She was one of seven, with three sisters and three brothers. All the sisters were stunning and their dad, my grandfather, used to accompany them to dances and also wait and bring them home at the end of the evening. He knew perfectly well what the local men had in mind and he wasn't going to lend them any assistance!
The village next to my mum's farm is called Hubberholme. The church dates from the 12th century and the pews currently within were fashioned by the the "mouseman". Look closely and you'll find the mice!
The man who settled here was a Viking called Huber and in time the settlement became known as Huber's home. It gives you a bit of a shiver sometimes to visit history and walk in old footsteps.
