George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Bozi I have to agree, there’s no need to get personal or even offensive towards posters who have opposing views.
Goodness knows, this company has been tiresome imho over the years in delivering on its stellar assets or even delivering a decent news flow to keep shareholders updated and feeling positive. How hard can this really be!?
Huge lulls in news just creates negative vibes and even anger as investors feel betrayed by their board of directors. I’ve seen it time after time in the small-cap stocks I’ve been invested in over the years. Why oh why are retail investors seemingly treated with such apparent contempt?
Shareholder value IS the NUMBER ONE responsibility of a listed company - or so they say.
I understand the huge challenges facing SolGold in their apparent attempt to close out a deal in the interests of shareholders, and there will be confidentiality agreements ongoing IF deal(s) are progressing. But please, could us shareholders have something positive released NOW as well, rather than left for another 6 months?
Just my opinion
Hear hear Grundles.
Brewery & up pish springs to my mind.
Why on earth can’t we seemingly have a board of directors who earn their crust in this company: prioritise shareholder value, and COMMUNICATE?!?!
I could run with the narrative of things happening behind the scenes and good things coming soon, if this narrative hadn’t been going on for ages and is well past its sell-by date.
As others have noted, the AGM later this year will focus minds, but this situation has been occurring for years now, and here we are at a pathetic 14.4 pence !!
Aimho of course
Very disappointing to see a 0.8p bid and a 0.9p asking price as I type, after what appears to have been significant progress in the company’s field operations. Frustrated sellers? I can sympathise as I head towards 2 (or is it 3) years invested - I honestly can’t remember, and the SP is a whisker away from my buy-in.
But I’ve absolutely no inclination to sell and will remain positive that the share price will see a decent uplift. Gla
Hi to all long term holders & newbies alike :D
I’ve recently taken to avoiding looking in on the daily chat here (and avoiding posting) - and to be honest - I feel so much better for it.
As I approach 10 years of investment in this company, I do find it disappointing/frustrating/ infuriating that the share price is barely above when I first invested @ (circa 12p), given the huge progress!
I wonder where things will ultimately go from here, but I’m dug-in and will be holding my shares in the hope of a good outcome.
Best of luck guys …….
Ps, all rights reserved to post lots again lol
Add - but WHY does the market have to be so apparently / skewed - or even corrupt? Why are we left guessing whether a trade is a buy or sell? It really shouldn’t be like this.
I read your earlier posts about the 2 historic rampers you’ve previously come across who had the ability to seemingly deceive the bulletin board ! Very interesting and it concurs with my own experiences of how rampant and very convincing posters can influence.
I don’t do Twitter - but it’s always messed with my head how companies are allowed to give Twitter updates ‘possible hints’?’ while not releasing a RNS? My conclusion can only be that : 1) The tweets have absolutely no relevance to the market 2). The regulation of market-sensitive info isn’t firing on all fronts??
What do you all think?
Unless/until trades are honestly reported as exactly what they are - either buys or sells - imv this farcical /potentially deceptional situation will linger. Why can the market not be honest & straight? What is a real argument against honest reporting of trades?
I’m not naive but I do think we need an honest overhaul of regulations - and soon!
Just my opinions :)
Hi Echo, I’d have personally worded it as ladies & gentlemen, but I agree that things are looking very positive indeed, and the coming weeks and months may be game changing for shareholder value imv. Fingers certainly crossed.
As always I should add the caveat that operations in the field with small cap explorers, often seem to take longer than anticipated. But all things being equal, this company is hopefully about to realise it’s just desserts ! :)
EVs are far too expensive to buy for the average family to afford imo.
Personally, I’m waiting for Hydrogen cars to become affordable.
As to SOLG, what a farce of a share price. As DG1 recently noted - our Directors should be absolutely ashamed !!
Please get this done !!!
All in my opinion of course :)
