Well, any financial advisor is going to look at your attitude to risk and compare that to the risk profile of this investment. You need the money in the short term and HUR is a long term investment. HUR, being a share in a single company is a high risk investment. However, if you are willing to keep your money in a high risk investment then I would hold for now. I would not say as long as possible though, because the closer you get to the date then the less time you have to recover from temporary market sentiment reversals and suchlike. You might choose to hedge your bets by holding for another few months in anticipation of benefiting from a rise from FOIL declaration and then sell, or some strategy.

When the BoD battle was going on I wasn't impressed that we were getting a new MD. Having seen the interview, I think he comes across very well for a number of reasons: 1) long term strategic thinking (production vs exploration), 2) his comments on finance, 3) focus on shareholders.

I'm a bit worried about Brockham but have to wait for news. I'm also suspicious that it would not be possible to access the abandonment fund for the gas development. Other than that he seems to be a safe pair of hands for the long term.

LTH? Strong buy! Timing the very bottom is difficult but I think anything between 15-17p is good if you're going to hold for the dividends.

I'm not sure having that mcap for about 10 minutes on a large spike means that much. It fell back to 8p ish very quickly. Only the quickest of day traders managed to capitalise on the top part of the increase.

Or we could be 200 days away. That's the thing with commercial processes - all sorts can happen! I was involved in a large bid process last year. We put out the RFP, downselected a preferred supplier, went into commercial negotiations but there were some issues arising, so we removed them as preferred supplier and re-opened the bid process. Weren't sure if other potential suppliers would or could come back in - but they agreed. Went through selection again and selected someone else, whom we are now negotiating with. It was a PITA so I hope things go smoother for 88e.

This looks like a very good prospect and I look forward to sharing in a great journey with you all. I'm usually a LTH although of course with AIM that isn't always a good idea.
