Yes they do get different allocations. I received my notification from iWeb today which, being as it's really Halifax but cheaper, I also got 48% from for my ISA. I'm very pleased with that as my SIPP with AJBell only got 18% of the excess I asked for.

Ninetails, but was he wrong? Fixed costs will still be incurred, and could they increase production over subsequent days to catch up? If they couldn't catch up on the lost production/sales within the relevant financial period then money has been lost, both in direct profit and the opportunity cost of not having that money available.

As far as a major being interested in UKOG's operations there's a long, long road until anything like that happens IMHO.

iweb for my S&S ISA here. The website is basic but functional. It's actually Halifax owned and it's their staff who answer the phone - very quickly. I recommend them on the basis of the great service. No issues with taking part in corporate actions. Funding the account by debit card is instant every time. When I sell shares the proceeds are immediately available to use in another trade (which is not the case with every broker).

I just read the article. They mention "anti-drilling campaigners" and "Campaigners against onshore drilling" but didn't actually quote anyone who is one. They seem to be making it up as they go along. What a farce.
