Well sure. There's always top up opportunities on small cap stocks. Question is when? Personally I see 2.1p as a good top up price at this time. Perhaps it may hit 1.8p but I think that'd take a while. Not expecting that really but one never knows... If the RCF drags on then maybe. But the fundamentals are supporting the SP fairly well so a drop to 1.8p would be a shock.

Big guns generally don't tend to buy without solid news or solid rumour of news. If there was a great CPR and plan from the BoD, or it was expected imminently, then big guns might buy. It's looking too early for them to do that. There's one or two large investors here already yes, but they're already got large stakes so are unlikely to be buying more unless they use their relationships to get some info from the BoD. In summary, we need news or solid rumour of news for this to move properly. And remember, buy on rumour - sell on news.

Erm, if you think the BoD would have to justify doing that then you are somewhat naive about corporate affairs and probably shouldn't speculate on AIM. Sorry if that sounds harsh. They don't need to give a damn about us.

Well if that's the case then we're definitely in the wrong stock. The best stock to be in would be the highest producer by volume (assuming a healthy balance sheet so that profits go mainly to shareholders). It'll be them making bank, not a company with one working well.

I agree that hitting the target (as near as dammit) in Q1 is a good sign, but we need global economic growth to keep that number rising. We should get that by mid-summer although I am concerned about the increasing number of C19 variants that seem to be popping up.

Er, well actually in Sept 2020 Goldman Sachs predicted $65, albeit in 2021 Q3.

They haven't been proved right or wrong yet. We need to see the CPR and BoD plan for the future. Only then will we know if the LTHs will see a return. So far all we've had is a slight rise in SP (great if you're a day trader in at 2.5p but it's feck all if you're a proper LTH) and a reasonable increase in oil price (a good thing but not going to save the company on its own).

So it's best to avoid counting your chickens. We'll see what happens. Fingers crossed.

Yep, let's say the sale price was 50p. I'd expect SP to hover around 49.65-49.85. And as Shezer said, it'd be so fast you'd have to be one of those high latency traders to get in at the lower price.

So i read the FT article and of course then the truth comes out - always DYOR and don't listen to the gob****es on here. Those analysts talking about price overshoots are talking about $100+ being POSSIBLE, not likely. 2030 is looking great for a high oil price though!

The BoD may not care about dilution. Plenty of shareholders have been wiped out in other companies by dilution, takeover at low valuations, etc all overseen by high salaried directors.
