Surely you aren't siding with the rampy BS merchants, Eurofil? That's beneath you. Being realistic about prospects is NOT deramping. Are you really here to take profits off the unwary and leave bagholders in your wake? There's nothing wrong with being a day trader - good luck to those who do it. It is possible to do that while still retaining your integrity though.

E.g. I am LTH in another stock that I am very negative on. I maintain a watch because one never knows when that might change, or I might use the info I glean to minimise my loss when I sell. I also like jumping on rampy morons.

No-one knows. But I do know this:

Are you a bondholder? You'll probably be fine.
Are you a LTH shareholder? You may well be fecked, or we could just about get out with some dosh - but not as much as we thought 2 years ago.
Are you a rampy day trader? Good luck, you'll need it from here on.
Are you a short? Things have just moved somewhat in your favour. But feck off anyway.

I have similar concerns but I think there is a key difference between UJO and UKOG/ANGS. The UKOG/ANGS drills have been generally failures. UKOG have failed to find oil in the quantities they promised. The ANGS 16p spike was based on lies. UJO seems to actually have the resources they claim and operations have gone reasonably well, albeit with the odd setback, so far. UKOG has been all setbacks and misinformation in my view.

So I'm in the same boat as you more or less. A small silver lining for me is that I bought a chunk at 2.5p so if HUR hits 12-15p (I forget which) I breakeven. I think that is possible in 2 years if the finances are dealt with (that's CBs plus a drill). If it gets to that level then I'm probably going out because I don't think 30p+ is possible within 4-5 years without a miracle. I really hope I'm wrong? Why, because when I bought in at 45p, and 15p, etc this stock looked to have a strong future. I was holding for the long term - I've even got some in my SIPP. I'd love it if the HUR got back to what we thought it could be. Unfortunately I just can't see it right now. I suspect it'll get taken out before then anyway. GLA.

Sorry, I agree with posters above. Zak Mir has no credibility with me. Like a lot of stock reporters and analysts there's a lot of hot air and little substance.

I dunno. I think I've lost out on opportunities in the past because I thought AIM companies could go bust - e.g. Alba, Angus. This generally seems not to be true in my experience - they just place and dilute or take on debt. So I don't think UKOG surviving is much of a feat. Actually providing a return though, that would be a feat.

I wouldn't disagree with your logic but are you new here? I've been in UKOG since before the 11p spike so been around a while. I recognise your name but I don't check in here so much now. I'm very sorry to break this to you but you've got two hopes of that happening - and one of them is Bob.

Good old Malcy. The same guy who did a positive writeup of FRR just before it all went to ****, the NOMAD resigned, shares got suspended, lawsuits starting flying, CEO stole oil, etc etc etc. Yeah, Malcy's the man to listen to.

@GroundHogDay1 - "bring only a very negative view point 24/7". This is demonstrably incorrect, as proved by my post history. I don't expect you to be that familiar with it, but if you look back I very recently bought at 2.5p (I stated it on the day of purchase) after a period weighing up the risks and I was very open why I did that - in expectation of a positive share price increase from a bargain basement level so I could reduce my losses and maybe breakeven this year. That's a very positive action, indeed much more valuable than words.

In addition, if you read my posts thoroughly you will see that I raise only those issues that we already know as fact as relayed by the BoD. That's realism, not negativity.

I don't make BS up, I don't pretend there's a 10.5p offer on the table today, etc, etc. If anything, given my large losses from 45p downwards I should be far nore negative. The BoD deserve it!

So, given your total misrepresentation of my position, I feel it's only fair to ask what is your agenda by bashing me?

Please do comment on the specific oil price thread I created. It will be interesting to discuss.
