I think there is a very large buyer in the background. This is great and I'd love a Tr-1. Get your head out the parapet! But we have to be honest; there are some massive sells too. Top-slicing, or one of the larger holders selling up, I have no idea, but looking at the prices, I don't think it's the same people/person. Nonetheless, there's some serious stock being transferred today, which is very interesting.

Rahel; that's good advice below. You strike me as someone who may be a little lighter in years?

Very few of my friends and family know that I invest, and maybe only 2 people know that I hold VAL shares. It's always tempting to recommend to others, but just be satisfied in yourself, with your own investments. As RB said; if things go well, it would be great, but it just isn't worth it to you, in the scenario that they don't.

It's great that you like the share, and are keen to spread the word, but I'd always recommend keeping enthusiasm to fellow investors, for example here.

Your friends and family will be much more pleased in the event of you walking around with a smile on your face, than if things were to go t!ts up.

It's probably the difference between diluting to cover running costs, and raising to invest. Sounds like they have a plan to develop some in house development capability in women's health that they can then sell to big pharma and make revenue on. If that's gonna cost 10M, but make 5M a year, for example, I think that would be a strong case to make to the SH base. All in the specific details and proposal as far as I'm concerned.
