The BOD certainly did not expect this reaction to sp from joining Nasdaq so that actually to me is a cause for concern as the anticipated uplift in sp and company market value has not happened. They will be wondering what they need to do as the reason they felt they had not the sp they felt rpl554 and the company warranted was due to a number of factors being exposure and coverage all to be remedied by joining Nasdaq.It appears as that there is as little interest currently in this share across the pond as there is here. They will be very unhappy with the share price and all that they endeavour to do to increase share price whether through past trials, announcement of new trials,or through joining other share markets both Germany (Failed and exited at what cost to set up) and now Nasdaq, the announcement of new employees as nothing else to announce.(How many experts do we need and why if they are so highly praised on their arrival. Why is Verona Pharma still floundering and by the way they did not want to lose KAB either. Amazing what you can pick up at the AGM but since the Nasdaq listing the sp is certainly not what they expected here or across the pond. So whilst your man the life boats was said in jest you may not be far from reality. Unless some exceptional results come from the trials you will indeed be reaching for your life jacket. I suggest that you possibly attend the next AGM if there is one and then you will have a greater feel for the boards expectations and realise that they are failing their own expectations and might I also add getting bonuses for doing so. You will not get any news till later than that of any major significance and I question the fullness of transparency that we currently get from the company. Communication very poor in all directions from what I see happening to the sp. You are easily pleased and I am happy that you are. Perhaps in a years time you may not be and you may even attend the AGM then.

Vrp currently 20% down on the £1.50 consolidation figure and vrna 10% down $13.50 down to $11.99. Shrewd move to go to Nasdaq has really diminished the share price.Was the global fund raising required for the ever increasing salary structure foremost or for trials that may actually have a positive end product beneficial to COPD sufferers and the companies value and thus securing its future with an income stream if it is the intention of VRP to commercialise the drug. The only positive that I took from the AGM was that it's price point made it commercially very attractive and that was the only token point that stopped me selling a large portion of my holding. But I only have that by spoken word so that in itself is beginning to stand for very little following the company not being able to follow up on "significant share holder value" after what seems like two years( when questioned about that at the AGM they completely avoided the point. At the next AGM if one takes place I will be much better prepared and press certain points further if the response is vague), then you have to begin questioning the credibility of nearly everything they say. All the above is my opinion so please all DYOR but hope sooner rather than later the BOD can surprise me in a good way and not a shocking way which they are currently managing with some ease.

So significant I would at the minimum expect 75-100% returns (£4.30-£5) thump!!!!!!!! sorry just fell of chair laughing..........lets pull the other leg cause it has bells on it. What in fact does Claire Poll do as she was at AGM. Certainly nothing like what she has done in other businesses as far as I can see from her CV . And surprisingly no comment from any one re info that Algi Pharma had a $4 million award from Cystic Fibrosis foundation and I think ours is 2 totalling £110 000. They are in the exact same field with a seaweed application drug which seems very similar. Yet our derisory funding from CF gives no one cause here to raise an eyebrow ( well it is going on my note for the next AGM if we indeed even have one next year). Some things never cease to amaze me. This will be diluted further by this BOD and slow progress made whilst reaping such glossal wages and bonuses for taking an sp backwards.( I never ever received a bonus for that and if I had would have questioned quite frankly if I was working for a competent firm.................call me crazy) ALL IMHO and suggest all do extremely diligent research before investing a further penny, the old adage of throwing good money after bad springs to mind currently with Verona Pharma. I give it a big HOLD and a SELL at the first opportunity that you can break even on your investment or dare I even suggest take just a hit for even a small 5-10% loss.

Having read pages 8-12 there is much in that that I could shred to pieces and a lot is the same platitudes that CP and MW used to feed us. No I will start to contact other major holders such as II's by phone and post and start to see if they feel the same as the PI's currently and if their is not a radical improvement in the performance of the BOD. Perhaps get some of the ii's weight behind voting against certain bonus and salary rises at the next AGM and try to get the greed curbed in the interests of the company and shareholders which may I add is the duty of the BOD's which they are currently very much negating on. I agree that it looks good on paper in places but really talk is cheap and they have produced no concrete evidence to back it up. Let me tell you that at the AGM they had had no offer from any Pharma bearing in mind that we have had draft agreements in place and continue to say we are in collaborative talks (one way by the look of it in which we are talking and the big Pharmas are laughing). Yet the key question that I asked was did we not have any Pharma that made an offer that would have been better than diluting with the Global share offer and the answer was they had had nothing even close. So let us put this in perspective no Large medium or other Pharmaceutical thought that A FIRST IN CLASS DRUG in PHASE 2 TRIALS WAS WORTH $64 million for a stake in half the company. SO no Pharma thought of writing out a PETTY CASH SLIP to purchase a half share in a company that has a so called first in class drug. Remember words to the effect of no offers anywhere near. They contradict on whether they are going nebuliser or mdi dpi. Yet we have a collaboration with a company for dpi and mdi yet cannot release an rns to say which company. Yet at the same time the company has managed to have certain info restricted for release till 2019. Well if and when that is released then I will see if it was of any material interest to the share price at the time and I for one would be seeking advise from a lawyer. No if you wish to treat pi's with contempt then expect to start being held to account. All the above is IMHO and I wish all holders best of luck, I used to believe that the drug spoke for itself so luck was not a prerequisite but I believe with the current underwhelming performance of the BOD and a drug that no Pharma has shown even a modicum of interest in then IMHO we will require all the Luck we can bloody well get. IMHO our Nomad is just as pointless as just reiterates corporate rating. Why really bother paying a nomad that cannot at least issue a share forecast, some of the fundamentals are so very lacking and that continues to give cause for concern. I am waiting for the next appointment in the next 6 weeks so as to appear that we are making progress and so that JAK can have had some interviews to justify his LUDICROUS PAY which with all other salaries may even manage to destroy the future of Verona Pharma.

Jak and the board should go and spend a week with someone that has COPD and spend 24 seven as the inhale of an oxygen tank that moves around the house and each exacerbation takes a little extra life from them and maybe then they would actually start to earn their money and prioritise getting this commerciallised instead of seeing how quick they can send there bank balances northwards. Well once upon a time back in 2009 I think there was one but my senses have been numbed substantially since by the same rehashed promises. Loads of people on board and no further forward. We only employ new people IMHO so that it looks like we have a future and portrays that JAK may have conducted a couple of interviews to justify the £16K monthly salary. Lets be honest otherwise twiddle your thumbs waiting for the results of next trial and open the mail and hope that the Cystic Fibrosis trust has sent a tiny cheque then we can issue another rns. Why not work at getting a $4 million grant and earn your crust like other companies have proven is possible. So what really is holding up this drug???????????????????????????????????. How many more phase two tests is becoming almost predictable . LARGE PAY RISE AND BONUSES, JAM TOMORROW RNS, MORE SPENT ON WAGES AND SPEND LESS ON TRIALS. DO A FEW POSTERS AT RESPIRATORY CONVENTIONS AND LAUGH AT THE SHAREHOLDERS AS THEY ARE AS CONVINCED AS WE ARE CONVINCING IN THE WONDER DRUG. ALL IMHO. Yes it reads like a fairy tale, once upon a time in a land of make believe. Sometimes feel that rpl 554 being commercialised is as probable as finding the goose that lays the golden egg. And yes if I could sell the shares and break even you would not see me for dust currently. Louds of sound bytes from company IMO and nothing more. Have no idea what our Nomad or promotions department do to earn what they are paid, seems about the same amount as JAK and others at this moment in time.

Is the amount being spent on salaries as a percentage to that on trials. JAK cannot justify his wage in any shape or form even if the share price stood at £3. What exactly does JAKS day consist of. Has Jak got a PA does anyone know? She must keep busy;-).

Has it proved itself exceptionally so???. No because if it had we would not of had the two rounds of fund raising at the paltry amounts that they were and furthermore we would have had an interest from a Pharma by now and certainly we would not of required to do a global fund raise if it had proved itself exceptionally so. These ii's have got in on the cheap in their opinion and certainly none are showing enough of a profit to sell up at this current moment in time else I am sure some would be. No they currently are in the same position as us. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Good luck all. On a positive at least no further drop to sp today, but that is no consolation what so ever currently or going forward in the short to medium term.

Can you explain the very large disparity between the awards for two companies both with seaweed based drugs from the CF Foundation. When does rpl proving itself exceptionally so lead to commercialisation. If you were at the AGM you would know that the end of phase 2b trial results are only expected in 2019/20 so I cannot see your 2018 being rpl554's year and considering the recent sp evidence at this moment in time and certainly whilst the sp has dropped significantly for no reason and no positive news due any time soon or in the future.

Why might it be our year. IN 2009 it was our year in 2010 and then again in 2010 2011 was going to be the year. I could continue but you get the jist. Two positive rns Nasdaq listing = 30% drop. What gives you the confidence. Two companies working on seaweed drugs and one gets $4 million award from cf and the other being us receive £110 000 if I remember correctly. What does that say because it tells me we have not got a drug potentially as good as we are being lead to believe and certainly the sp is currently saying that RPL554 it is not all that it is cracked up to be imho.

That at least gives me some small solace. LOL. The hit I would take will be more like 3 to 4 months salary so difficult decision. Fortunately a huge believer in Karma. So if we do get screwed I have no doubt they will eventually too IMHO.

If some shares are not purchased by a ii or member of BOD of VRP are you not concerned that on two rns released since nasdaq which seemed positive we have managed to drop nearly 30% from the £1.60 high. As I attended the AGM David said they shared the same concerns as to the share price but believed that the listing on Nasdaq and the coverage the share would receive would in some way go to addressing this.That was as it stood then and that was pre Nasdaq launch........so be under no illusion they will not be impressed by this collapse of share price.The BOD has previously issued rns stating they know no reason for large fluctuations on previous movements but no rns re 30% recent drop and we know it is not due to a new round of fund raising. So what do you believe to be the reason or is it the Nasdaq pulling us down? I would appreciate your take on this. As you know I am a big fan of RPL 554 but certain information and happenings are beginning to make me question my judgement and whether the fact I have lost friends and relatives to CF and COPD has emotionally clouded my better judgement.

However I have found out recently that a Norwegian based company that also works with a seaweed drug called OllogoG was Awarded $4million from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutic to advance it's clinical development of the mucus altering and biofilm disruptive drug in June 2016. It makes our awards seem very paltry in comparison and I cannot help to think that we would seem to have a lesser CF drug going on the awards comparison or AlgiPharma have more acute businessmen running the show.It is beginning to explain more and more IMHO. I will currently take a massive hit to sell at current sp but I am having to currently consider as are others that I have spoken to. Never take shareholders for granted. Have not seen that many sell trades for a long while and whilst nothing is forthcoming from the Nomad on behalf of the Verona Pharma Board then I feel even more sells and a further lowering sp. I do not know if Nasdaq had a shocker also. Certainly if the BOD wanted to further the company and sp by joining Nasdaq they have failed in spectacular fashion. However if they are just wanting to keep receiving their over inflated salaries then they are probably succeeding as to plan all IMHO. Transparency lacking somewhere here at this moment in time.

Exceptionally disappointing and The BOD should really be making a statement IMHO re the drop from 150-110p very poor and unless the director, chairman and board members are buying the share and hence the low price which we come to expect. But if not then the BOD need to start using the NOMAD to state they know of no reason why the share has tanked and is equivalent to almost JUST 2p old money. A Shocker by any standards. Having spoken to them in person I was given reason to be optimistic as the money raised was going to enable them to do so much for the company. But I unfortunately believe now that they are just feathering their own nests with bonuses and share reward programmes and large pay packets that are completely unjustified.One day the shareholders will sell in their droves and large numbers, you were warned gentleman at the AGM.

Yes, not updated as they are wishing to give us a feel good factor on a regular basis as it is currently the only time we get to enjoy seeing a blue rise. One can get used to the deflation of emotions when you get through to the live sp. As my sofa doctor tells me this is part and parcel of investing in this share and apparently all her other clients go through the same trials and tribulations. AVFC you are not alone. One day it will look similar and be reality. Which year remains the issue obviously.

Yes once again a big disappointment but you have some well regarded institutional investors that have done their homework and due diligence so that keeps me still holding faith but I did warn the BOD not to become complacent and take shareholders for granted and Thelix is an example of what will happen. It would be helpful if all those that are invested try to arrange to attend the AGM next year irrespective of whether this share is still at this price or multiples thereof. Less than a handful attended the last meeting. I speak to four other holders of this share via private e-mail and two are certainly considering selling like Thelix. The BOD will be scratching their heads but they must be on borrowed time.
