Well they have made small business find another 4.1% to pay min wages which will put up inflation over giving every one a higher TAX band from £12,571 which would have increased growth, so they have no clue.

Well it's prob won't be, I would not plan retirement on those figures :-)

I think I would wait till results day they have always been great.

But at 70 years old you maybe have more than enough money already.

RR should start going up again soon, we had a correction , onwards and upwards.

That was a great day, all year I have been looking for that "next" share.

Those days when you wake up and make £104k in that month (on paper) seem long gone

Now in Nov I am £120k down on paper from Oct.

While IAG and LLoyds are doing great RR and M&S have ruined my pot value, but they both should be short term.

I still see RR at £13 in 24 months and M&S over £4 end 1/4 1 2026 even £5 in 18 months. just a waiting game I guess.

I live very well on £50k to be fair, but I don't live in London :-)

I was driving sports cars all my life well before the RR money and do what I like within reason.

I do feel it the last 3 years that paying myself £50k now is getting harder, due to in the main my food bill and GAS /electric bills is double what it was 3 years back.

remember the ave wage is £35k ish outside London.

I think we should have a TAX between 20% and 40% myself or just raise the 40% with inflation every year.

I will be richer in retirement than now !!! as I'll pay very little TAX going forward and aiming for a £60k PA TAX free wage. I need more as I will do more fun stuff :-)

I cannot call it, we might get a nasty TAX shocker.

But will it all be aimed at the Rich and the rest is just fiscal drag which significantly lowers the real wealth and disposable income of middle-class households.

Welfare spends will be UP, TAX will be up.

CGT is a BIG one for the FTSE

They might remove all free div's and also put those up to 20% / 40%

They can only hit people who earn money !!! the 40% TAX should be £65k by now, it's killing the middle class.

Well I dropped my RR now from a massive 65% of my pot to 39%% of the pot over the last few months.

best sells were £11.46 panic sells were £10.22 but just £15k worth. Was never going all out when it's was bouncing off £10.20 what 4 times + !

And it was filling the GAP and that was the price to fill.

Was shocked to see quite a few all out at the bottom ! I would only go all out at £10.

will we drop tomorrow on a BAD TAX shocker ! (normally recovers after a few days)

will we rise as they only going after the RICH ie £15 million = rich in todays money and these £2million houses etc. plus CC up for people F and worse.

I guess most of it will be petrol duty, longer freezes on the stealth 40% brackets to 2030 !! , car TAX up, pensioners will now be paying TAX on state pensions etc.

And the CGT might goto 40% but they put it up last time to 27% not again I hope it's not worth risking money trading to then pay 40% TAX that would hit the FTSE bad imo.

Well it's gamble time today, it's blue could hit £10.50, but tomorrow is budget day.

£3.26 seems a bottom to bounce off then it's £3.19 cannot see it below £3.19. unless business have to pay more TAX on Wednesday !
