RE: Still Holding21 Nov 2025 14:28
I moved a few more RR to Div stocks today and now at £34k divs PA.
Then I take £12k from my SIPP from now till I am 67 and then the Gov gives me £12k (be £15k by then)
that's circa £50k TAX free income without touching my pot. But i will pay myself £20k PA from the pot for a few years, so a 70k income net. Bare in mind I am debt free so it's just spending money, food and CC !! And running the sports cars !! but I am going to sell my super car. so that frees up £150k !
So for me I will keep playing the SM for 10 to 20 years. I would never give my money to a 3rd party that's for sure, but I have been buying VUAG funds also.
My back bone is Lgen and Aviva so if those divs give up then I will have to move stocks.
I only need 8% to live like a king and pot size up , so not after gains these days, I just do it for fun, but today was not fun.
No such thing as a "wealth management company" they just take 8% and don't care if your fund goes down why do this ?
Just buy VUAG ETF or an annuity ! or FTSE 100 div stocks .
All a wealth manager will do is put it in a VUAG fund and then take 5 to 8% anyway !!!
And always hold 3 years wages cash.
