Nope, it was RP but before the tremendous results

It's looking very promising for strong RP results in a fortnight. The last time it went up like this it was closely followed by positive RP news and Fosun announcement. RENE seems a bit "leaky" to me nowadays. That's not always what you want but it's good news for investors at the moment, I'm pretty sure of that.

I'm half-expecting an RNS in the run up to the results with some other good news. No rationale behind that, just my hunch.

Come on RENE.

PC01 if it's Woodford selling, he still owns about a THIRD of the company so 200k shares is hardly significant. He'll have to knock out another 10,000,000 (!!!) if he's our man to be done n dusted.

Sorry, not trying to put a dampener on things but I've seen this so many times before. Spike, sell, back down we go left wondering what that was all about.

I hope so. Either that or the MMs taking the p1ss again. They spiked it to 245p on 29th August then dropped it back to 190p with no rhyme or reason.

Hopefully this time it'll be sustained. Always a good sign if it continues in the afternoon after the US wakes up. After all if there's info leaking we want it to come from over the pond because that's where all the trials are happening.

I think he got carried away with the extraordinary efficacy results from RP and was so excited by them he was rather too dismissive of CTX at the time. That video is not listed on their website under the "News" - "Media Coverage" section; my guess would be they are embarrassed by it and recognise it was unprofessional. I won't mention it again.

You're right to highlight his statement about reporting any negative feedback from the RP trial. As you point out, that hasn't happened and therefore we have every reason to remain as excited about it as he was at the time of that presentation.

Not long to go now. Just a few weeks to the next RP readout and a potential game-changing re-rating of the shares. Hopefully Woodford will get an opportunity to exit fully, or someone else will get the opportunity to buy him out. Then we'll really be in business.

Yes, I noticed that too, which is interesting.

However don't take my word for it [RP centre stage and CTX relegated], take the CEO's word for it. Look back at this interview from 21st March:

He basically doesn't even bother talking about the CTX line. Around 1 minute he says, if it's no good they'll "toss it". All in all I thought very dismissive at the time and completely unappropriate given trial patients undergoing invasive surgery with hope.

I've been (and remain) a holder for well over a decade, toptiger! I'm still nursing considerable losses.

I don't mean to be dramatic, that's honestly the way I feel about it. It seems to me the company has shifted its focus from CTX to RP because of the markedly better efficacy being shown, and therefore at least the short term SP is completely dependent on the update on that trial.

Feels like we're basically all-in on Retinal now. If efficacy has continued, we'll all be quids in. Many quids in. If not SP is going to nosedive.

It's not a bad bet. At this price, you've got a binary option on 3 or 4 times your investment or 75% loss. Far better than heads or tails!

Plus the price should creep up in the run up to mid-October now.

SP, I assume, will hover around 200p in the meantime unless we hear any other news. Strange how the spike back to 250p was short-lived over the last couple of weeks. Makes you wonder what that was all about!

Yeah, that's unlikely to be the reason Nickprice100 seeing as RENE ditched their critical limb ischemia therapy about 10 years ago.
