Once the markets get a grip on what is happening at Greatland they will all want a piece of the action as they know what happened at Northern Star. There may be a dip to start but wait till eyes open up and this could well motor!! Yesterday’s Sunday Roast said that with the right conditions GGP could hit 50p within weeks- here’s hoping and VGLA to all the true Greatlanders who have been very loyal and very patient!!

Hi Hopefully - I assume I must have gotten under the skin of at least one of the trolls so thank you for standing up for me. Trouble is it is futile confronting them directly as it makes them feel powerful that someone is writing back to them. I greenbin them so that I don’t get to see the puerile worthless tripe that they post. My stress levels remain low whilst theirs are rising when they have to post (bait) more and more frequently - sad, sad individuals.

Either someone is working themselves into a frenzy over the positive rumours or they are banding together to try to rubbish GGP and our highly experienced CEO and BoD - are the trolls realising that they could be missing out on the best RNS being posted in GGP’s history, that will see them “miss the boat” (again) when our SP takes off. Totally different scenario GC56 - the Loan Charge scandal is all about tax avoidance and who the HMRC chases (rightly or wrongly) for recovery. My post is about general taxation on UK taxpayers so still stands.

Tax grabs are very unlikely/unusual to be retrospective, even for a Labour Government. They normally set out tax grabs on anything from now going forwards, so those with monies stored under a tax free ISA wrapper already, should (underlined) be OK. As to the tax benefits of new ISA’s in the future, that may be a different story. IMHO Labour will go for tax grabs on CGT (on assets outside ISA’s), IHT and reducing tax relief for higher rate taxpayers on pension contributions as their first targets, but we shall see!!
