Hi Chuff - I understand your frustration and have often thought of doing the same myself, but that just means the disrupters win and I’m damned if I’m going to let that happen. My strategy is greenbinning the well known fudsters - Nine, Freddie, Tymers and actually over 60 others!!! But that just means I don’t get distracted by those who have nothing meaningful to add but deliberately try to bait and set traps that others will respond to - I genuinely believe they need responses in their sad lives as they don’t get what they need in their normal day to day lives - very sad. But for the true Greatlanders, of which I believe you are one, we should be able to rationalise and discuss anything (positive and negative) without having fudsters deliberately trying to be contentious just for the sake of it. So I would say stick it out Chuff and use whatever strategy works for you to keep posting as from my point of view I always enjoy your contributions. I keep asking the true Greatlanders to either greenbin the trolls, or at the very least NOT respond to their baiting/traps, but I know it’s not easy. Overall I do believe we have more good contributors here than trolls and ultimately that’s what keeps me from doing what you propose to do, but of course it is your choice and I respect that. 👍👍

Hi 96 - if you have to sell and buy then you need to make sure you calculate the impact of any tax due within each tax year (ideally selling only enough to keep the tax low) and ideally you want to sell when you expect the GGP SP to be going down so that your purchase within the ISA buys more shares than the ones you sold to start the process - tricky balancing act, hence why I say good luck.

Spot on Welshy, Chris and CSW - I greenbinned him ages ago so don’t have to see the rubbish he posts to try to antagonise us but meanwhile PANR is going down. Unlike Scot I don’t wish ill on PANR holders but as he’s not invested here, he is some sort of nasty individual to keep on trying to stick the knife in on us - he should worry about his own stocks and the state they are in. Hi 96 - could be well worth transferring to another Company’s ISA if 212 don’t have one because there are very strong rumours that Labour are coming after the “wealthy” via CGT and IHT at least - get your shares wrapped under the (current) tax free environment of an ISA and all your gains will be yours and not taxed to high heaven by Labour!! Your choice but good luck in whatever you decide.
