Part of me feels it perverse that those highs were built around hype more than substance and yet now it is completely the other way round and none of us are sure we will get back to the ATH’s!! Hi Max19 - if you’re right in your thoughts at 09.11 this morning then that is a 14.5% uplift from the 4.8p discounted SP used for the cash raise (which was c.30% down from our SP at the time) - so not a bad place to be starting our recovery of the SP that felt as being taken off us and then onwards and upwards from there.

Lol Jiffy - your opinion of me counts for little I’m afraid. It’s my choice to greenbin those I perceive to be time wasters, nothing to do with having a different point of view. In my 131 greenbins there is only one who I feel I was a bit harsh on and that was Tiggerman who I apologised to. But hey, if you want to read posts from those who waste time (and more often than not are true fudsters/trolls) then that is your choice. You can apologise for the insult if you’re man enough.

By the way - I meant to mention from Bamps’ post - can you imagine the furore here if Shaun had not negotiated the deal he has with Newmont and we just had our 30% of Hav with a brand new partner owning the other 70% and then realisation hit that we wouldn’t be hitting first ore until 2027. Talk about the SP tanking, we would all be in limbo with no other sights on progress until then!!

Hey Panama - have you listened to Liam and Stu’s podcast from last night? It’s quite lengthy and a touch “laddish” but the excitement over their assessments is palpable. As Bamps posted less than an hour ago, I think any delays to Hav first ore are far less important if our 100% farm ownership means we have production income from Telfer filling the coffers. First time I’ve known you to be a little less than positive and you’re right that information is a key requirement but just hope if last night’s Podcast and Bamps’ posts might tide you over. Brilliant Bamps as always - a lot of shorter termers on here will not realise the nuances of what has just happened this week. I’ve read several posts bemoaning the delays quoted on Havieron first ore, thinking that now we own the farm all the stops would be pulled out to get Hav done and dusted. But as you rightly point out, owning the farm means that now Shaun has a revised priority list to encompass ALL our resources. This really is exciting stuff and my Single Malt tastes extra special tonight. Thanks as ever for your thoughts Bamps - many a time it is your rationale that has kept me invested here. Good man.

A point not mentioned at all today by all those whinging about the 30% drop in SP for the equity raise is that the purchase of Hav & Telfer has been announced as highly accretive for shareholder by virtue of 1.4 x accretion on attributable mineral resources per share. In other words (as Liam and Stu discussed on their GGPHelp podcast last night) shareholders have on the one hand been handed an extra 40% in exchange for 30% drop in SP - which in itself should be temporary once the deal is sealed on 30th September (assuming shareholders vote in favour of the acquisitions!!) From 1st October onwards we are officially gold producers and for all the reasons ChartaRex pointed out so eloquently in his 12.28pm post today, our destiny is well and truly our own - anyone think the SP will stay in the 4.8p region then? Wyloo, Andrew Forrest, 3 major Banks, Newmont and Shaun and our BoD certainly don’t, as these entities do not venture into anything that is not truly advantageous financially. So to all the whingers - do some more research and try to understand what you really are a part of - this is “once in a lifetime opportunity” and the major hard work will shortly be behind us. VGLA!!

It has taken real guts, belief in Shaun and his BoD and steely focus to have remained in GGP all these years. Now (subject to affirmative shareholder voting) we will transition from lowly junior explorer to full blown gold and precious metals producer - up there with the big boys!!

Yes I was hoping for a smaller dilution than Shaun gave us, but this is big business and the intricacies of what GGP have had to negotiate to see off Newcrest and deal with Newmont is mind blowing!! We now have full backing of Wyloo and Twiggy (massive security), we still have 3 major Banks in the wings and even Newmont wanted a piece of the action to stay involved. Just ask yourselves why to the above and it should give you a crystal clear idea of where GGP (and our SP and future dividends) are heading in the days, weeks, months and at least 15 if not 20 years ahead of us.

Congratulations to Shaun, his Team and all long suffering Lthers who now deserve rich rewards imho!!
