Thanks Mr Havieron and Des - looks like I’m not the only one who thinks he’s to blame but mustn’t grumble - I got in at 1.28p and have never sold a single share - pinching myself as to where the SP is now and even better on where it has yet to go!! Good luck all!!

Seems like we’re struggling to break the 23p mark at the moment and it’s all my fault - as soon as I feel confident that we are safely past 23.5p I will be handing my notice in and early retiring!! I won’t be selling up but will just drawdown a very comfortable income for the rest of my natural. So you see, it is all my fault that the SP is stuttering below my eutopia!! I will continue being patient - what’s another 6 weeks between friends and the MRE and/or Scally results will see us safely fly upwards!! VGLA Greatlanders!!

To all true 88ers can I suggest that with only a handful of real and credible posters onboard whilst 88E seeks to regain lost ground, that we do not waste space on this Board by perpetually rising to the bait that the likes of Donald Trump lays as a trap for us. It seems he’s not even invested so he doesn’t deserve the oxygen that is being given to him by reacting to his snipes - JUST IGNORE HIS POSTS or better still FILTER him so you do not even see his lame attempts at unsettling good people. If we all pull together on this he WILL go elsewhere to peddle his wares - you just see!!

Sam - you probably need an Independent Financial Adviser more than a Tax Adviser but Jet is right don’t listen to anyone who tries to advise you on here. Why? Because you have understandably left out all your personal circumstances that are specific to you. An IFA will start by finding out how long you have to go till retirement, your attitude to risk, your actual goals and objectives and then will consider the best ways of getting you there. Good luck but don’t just take advice from strangers - make sure they are qualified to give advice.

Hi Beverley - sorry but you made me laugh out loud!! As a lther who has an average of 2.77p I couldn’t help but laugh when you complained that 0.37p seemed a bit steep!! Rub salt into my wounds why don’t you?? Seriously, I know what you mean and when we were back at the 2, 3 and even 4p’s seems an awfully long time ago. However, as I’ve said before it’s not over till it’s over and DW is a skilled negotiator so hopefully we will see Project Peregrine fly remembering that we only need one good hit to be transformational for 88E - VGLA lthers!!

Great post Dave - spot on about this BoD - they are a quality act and great that they respect PI’s as well as II’s - holding tight till MRE and will then reassess. I hope to retire and just draw down the income I need, leaving the bulk still invested with GGP for the longer term - VGLA!!

Can they be challenged? Sounds like the sort of job Hydrogen relishes as surely they realise that inaccurate (because it’s old) or superficial (because it lacks depth) comments can adversely affect the SP and push some shareholders into selling (not me though!!)

Great response Elise and I’m with you all the way - no impatience is going to see me miss out on the real rewards yet to come for GGP. If we don’t get bought out, I hope I never have to sell GGP and I can just draw down whatever income I need for early retirement and let the rest stay invested and accumulating more wealth as more tenements get uncovered. Isn’t it frustrating that the SP is going down? Frustrating that the SP doesn’t seem to reflect well enough what GGP has in store? Frustrating that no news is coming out quickly enough about Scallywag? Frustrating that other shares (SOLG, EUA ) seem to be flying? Now flip it, if someone told you that by Xmas you could be sat on an SP of 3, 4 or even 5 times higher than it is now, would you sacrifice the frustration for just a bit of patience? There you go, sit on your hands (as the good man says) and just wait a little longer - VGLA all true Greatlanders we have a BoD who will deliver!!
