RE: Target?27 Nov 2020 09:48
Morning all - JC I had to respond to your post of 9.07 am as it was so spot on. I started GGP at 1.28p and saw it decimate to 0.44p when Newmont walked but I held firm and hoped I might see a ten bagger at some point. It was after we zoomed through the ten, eleven, twelve pence that my “target” started to change into a plan. I realised that this share has confirmed its current status all along the way and therefore the fear of it crashing to zero was diminishing. I therefore decided that this could be a share that I will never fully cash in, but rather will draw down the income I need (to retire) and leave the rest to accumulate as this continues to consolidate and improve. If we are bought out then the story ends but otherwise I see this share as a “dripping roast” that I can hopefully pass on as a legacy in my SIPP to my next of kin and they can hopefully enjoy the wealth it brings them when I have curled up my toes. This share is the find of the century (for me at least and I am sure others) and Tig’s It’s a Wonderful Life post also captures it. Thanks to all our brilliant and selfless posters and good luck to old and new GGP investors - welcome to the family!!!
