Is it just me or does the 22p SP seem to be our nemesis - every time we break past it we seem to tumble straight back to it - I know it’s only 6 weeks till Xmas and some hugely important news to come before then but my God it seems a long wait with the blasted 22p staring me in the face continually!!!! Great post HtoH - thank you. This could end up being a real rags to riches story for 88E and those trying to predict the SP as a result, are mad. Just let it play out and it will inevitably peak and trough, but the important point is any one of the future farm outs and drill campaigns could turn 88E from a minnow “has been” into a beautiful swan - you just have to believe or sit back and just watch. Can it be done? I invested in GGP at 1.28p when they had a JV with Newmont - Newmont walked and the SP bombed to 0.44p - I held pretty similarly to 88E because I didn’t want to turn a paper loss into a real loss. Newcrest came in for GGP and between them they have uncovered a Tier 1 Gold mine in Oz - the SP is currently 22p and much more expected. So can it be done? Of course and I wish all true 88ers the same good luck as befell GGP remembering that the fundamentals are what make for success and I believe 88E have them!! VGLA !!

Quite right Reaper - this ain’t over until the rotund lady sings and I would love it if 88E proves the potential that so many lthers believe exists!! VGLA!!

Good morning all true 88ers - I have consistently supported DW’s negotiating skills - if anyone can bring a farm out partner to the table it is DW but let’s not be naive here - how could he consistently bring a number of interested bidders to the table and choose the best of them unless he really has a strong story to tell - a story that has to undergo furtive and thorough DD. Anyone who thinks 88E is history, may just regret it as PB did the exploratory stuff before he sadly passed away and DW is very capable at selling the story - VGLA true 88ers 2021 maybe our year!!!

Not worried Z - just making sure no one exits because they mis-read that all gains to be made from GGP are already over. Far from it this can build gradually and very valuably over the next 36 months with so lovely rises along the way. No problem with you Z - you’re a good egg!!

Maybe claptrap is a bit strong but for a stock that has grown from 1p to 23p without the resource yet being defined and with so many other exciting tenements left to explore, I think you are premature in writing off further increases at GGP just yet. Our own Chairman stated in his Financial Overview that they are working tirelessly to make this year as good as the last. That’s good enough for me to keep holding. Perhaps rising another 23 times is a bit too hopeful but I see no reason why 4 times plus cannot come our way within the next 12 months, if not sooner!! Keep the faith!!

Exactly Gimme - I have grandchildren as well as a large number of brothers and sisters. Sorry Avo but you do not know my circumstances and hence cannot comment on them. I have other investments in pensions and ISA’s but my goals are not for myself. I wish you well.

Thanks Hawk - I know what you mean and I will give it more thought - I am more typically the gambling sort (bought 7m of these with 1.28p the highest price) - that’s why I am trying to be circumspect from here on in. Truth is I watch this share so regularly every day, that should it take a turn I am unhappy with, chances are I will spot it and be able to act on it fairly quickly anyway. I hope to retire very soon but also intend staying fully invested in GGP as I can only see a bright future from where we are now and certainly where we came from when Newmont walked. Could that sort of mistake trigger stop losses though? I’m on HL and had to go and check I am still invested - I would only want a stop loss triggered if this really did dive (not that I expect it to) but this is my SIPP fund - there’s a point I won’t let it go below, but errors I can put up with as long as they don’t bundle me out inadvertently!!

I personally wouldn’t touch Newmont with a barge pole - I remember the feelings and decimation to the SP when they walked away from us. I’m not bitter but they had their chance and they scarpered when we needed them to stand up. Good on Newcrest is what I say and over the moon for all lthers who held firm!!!
