You’re nearly there Duchess - the SP will be 20 times the closing price and you will own a twentieth of the number of shares you had before closing - no better off, no worse off is meant to be the premise.

Good point Pott and the fact that they’ve scaled back how many shares investors could purchase in the Offer sounds like they’ve widened out the number of investors who get some “cheap” shares to encourage all of them to purchase more on the open market - great tactics!! 👍👍

Hi Chippy - no problem buddy - I’m with you on holding for Havieron and even hoping to leave it as a legacy in my SiPP for my good lady followed by our son, but Rachel Thieves has just introduced IHT on pension assets on top of your normal assets so I’m damned if I’m going to let even more go to the taxman - will have to explore alternative routes. Hey Chippy - you’ve had me checking my facts, after all it was a fair while ago. My purchase price of 1.28p is ingrained on me, as is Newmont abandoning us the first time around but maybe I meant to say that the sp went down by 75% leaving me with 25% of what I had invested only weeks before. Either way I know it was painful just as going from our 38p ATH down to the 5p’s (albeit at least I had used some to early retire over 4 years ago by then!!) Anyways onwards and upwards for us all 🤞🤞🤞

Quite right Spy - I hadn’t long invested in GGP when Newmont walked away from us the first time around and my investment plummeted from 1.28p down to a quarter of a penny!! Why I didn’t walk then is probably due to the amount I’d invested and then reading the wise words of Paddy, Bamps, Hydro etc. plus my own research. Then came Newcrest on a white charger and the games began again, but at least I was still in the game!! Loads of ups and loads of downs since, but hopefully we are only going one way for the foreseeable future so VGLA all true Greatlanders - we deserve this 👍👍

You beat me to it Badger - why on earth would anyone want to read anything Equilibrium is going to post - he can’t even get up to date with what is actually happening at GGP before posting today, so his thoughts are always going to be out of date and inaccurate until he does. I’m not prepared to wait - straight in the greenbin he goes!!

Hey Tom - I could see that you were receiving abuse but I couldn’t see what it was as I greenbinned Daz423 a good while ago. I greenbin trolls, miscreants and anyone who doesn’t add to the quality of what I read (I.e have nothing to contribute). I think my greenbin is over 140 strong now and provides me with untold extra time in not having to sift through tripe and a lot less grief in not having to read childish posts or abusive ones. Can’t recommend the greenbin highly enough - you don’t deserve to have to read abuse towards you for just making a civil request. Don’t let the barstewards grind you down Tom 👍👍

Hey Duchess - your points in order: -

1. Do you realise that you currently have 100,000 shares at 14.60p but after consolidation (if it happened right now) as you say you would only have 5,000 shares but the share price should multiply by 20 times so would be £2.92 per share - so you should be NO worse off. The question about taking a small profit now is YOUR choice but if you research this properly you should find that most Lthers believe we are reaching the point where GGP is just about to take off over the next months/years. But YOU must decide what timescale and risk you are prepared to accept.

2. No one can be absolutely sure what the Offer Price will be but your Broker holding your current GGP shares should have notified you by now that the Offer is open for you to buy more shares from now until 20th June 2025. You can elect to buy as many shares as you can afford, but the number you get allocated (and hence the cost) will all be decided by Shaun and his team who are running this offer.

Hope this helps but my suggestion is that you read far more about what you are investing in before doing anything else - the RNS’s or GGP website is your best starting point as it is ALL factual (it has to be by law!!) Failing that proper Financial Advice that whilst you have to pay for, is at least regulated so has to be in your best interests. Good luck whatever you decide to do!!

Hey Naughty - save yourself the angst and simply greenbin Culpepper like I did ages ago and you no longer see or have to read his pathetic dribblings. Saves time and ask yourself what he has contributed to this Board up to now that you are worse off had you not read it?? Think you’ll find the answer is nothing - just greenbin the disrupters, all of them imho!!

I agree Bamps but with Shaun in play (ex-CFO at Northern Star) plus now exemplary CEO at GGP I have no concerns that he will play the GGP cards to benefit PI’s as well as II’s as he sees fit. He also has his expert and highly experienced BoD to consult with to ensure every card will be played for maximum benefit. He’s proved his loyalty to us PI’s many times now and I feel very confident that this will continue. I almost feel guilty for being a backseat passenger albeit as a Lther I invested (along with others) when GGP truly was a minnow, so that’s why I say almost!! VGLA as this now all unfolds.

Yes Multiplier I think you are right and was his message on X today a little hint that he’s opened up the offer to include retail investors as well so that no one can accuse him of setting this up purely for any Oz II mates he may have. Shaun is one in a million and I’m glad he’s batting for GGP!!

I don’t think Shaun sees this as a dilemma. As CEO he is hellbent on improving GGP’s standing as an official miner playing in the big boys pool and to prove GGP can hold its own. He does this right and he knows that the SP will flow afterwards so he is unconcerned about the SP - he is purely focused on the growth of GGP as a Company, as he should be. That’s his strength as a strategist and leader - as shareholders we all focus on the SP and I’m sure when Shaun has his shareholder hat on he may veer towards doing the same. But he wears that CEO hat far more often and far too well to let anything distract him from building GGP into a multi-asset, multi-billion dollar outfit AIMHO!!
