Hi Ace - the call out was for those who appeared to be on the Board at the time last night plus any other Greatlanders looking in at that time. You know I would never leave you out intentionally buddy!! Just hope Mucus is gone like the others!!
Hi SAS - hope you’re well. I’m being slightly naughty tonight - these uninvested unresearched disrupters are sometimes too easy to wind up using reverse psychology. He will never admit to you that his tactics are not working, but for all the time he is not responded to, he posts more and more outrageous (unresearched) statements trying to get us all responding and challenging his assertions. It’s then great fun when we don’t respond!!! The guy is completely intellectually out of his depth and watching him sink to lower and lower levels is helping me digest my Single Malt all the more. If he doesn’t get banned he will get put in my greenbin when I tire of winding him up. Sorry but it’s a quiet Friday night to pass time!! Good luck to us all.
Well said Dip, SAS and Viking - Mucus is well named as he’s the slime you wipe off the bottom of your shoe. Uninvested, unresearched and only here to try to wind us up and disrupt the Board. Just like many (better) pretenders who have come and gone before him, he will disappear as fast as he’s appeared because he hasn’t the intellect or mental strength to stay around for long. Time waster of the worst kind - greenbin is my recommendation. Best wishes to all true Greatlanders of which there are many!!!
Thanks Stebol - I’m sure this is a forever moving feast that Shaun has had to keep one or two steps ahead of the game wherever possible. I have no doubt that he knew Biswas was playing a game and he had to outfox him whenever he could. Like you say, it would be great for Ernest Giles to be a monster, particularly ironic as that was when Newmont walked away from us last time. This time, I will be happy to see the JV through with them at Hav, if only because they have the best mining experience to apply to it on our behalf (as well as their own). Anyway good luck to you and to us all.
Hi Stebol - firstly let me clarify that I do not hold you or Chisler anywhere near the same category as Mucus, but to state fact here is a straight life from Shaun’s comments on Aim on Air 30th Jan 24 : -
“- but I think that's where people are trying to understand once that feasibility study is out, it needs to be out before the commencement of commercial Mining and also does trigger this… both parties have to agree to go ahead
- if not one party can emerge with 100%
- I don't think we're going to get that opportunity but if we do we would be delighted but I think people should really put that to one side and assume that you know both joint venture parties will want to progress this asset.”
That’s why I just found it a touch frustrating that you both seemed to be flying in the face of Shaun saying put it to one side. You are however, of course entitled to your opinion as I firmly believe that unlike Mucus you are both invested in GGP and therefore earn the right to express whatever opinion you wish. Hope that clears up that there is no ill-feeling on my part to either of you…..just a disagreement on your view of a buy-out.
Stebol/Chisler - so you both know more than our CEO Is that what you are saying? Only this week Shaun has clearly stated that he does not believe there will be anyone buying out their JV Partner and we will therefore steam ahead alongside Newmont. What makes you think Shaun would be so openly inaccurate in his answers on a Podcast when he knows all and sundry could be listening? I think you’re grasping at straws and not listening when our CEO gives his (most valuable) view - I know who I prefer to listen to.
As an aside, I am sure we all agree that Liam’s latest Aim on Air video gave us all access to Shaun our CEO to get enthusiastic reassurance that GGP is very well managed and heading in the right direction. Can I put in a plug for Liam who does so much research into creating questions that Shaun will open up to. If you like his efforts it doesn’t cost much to buy him a coffee to say thanks. I have already but if we all did, then he might feel his tireless work is worth it. Here is the link and thanks to those of you who feel the price of a cup of coffee is the least we can do : -

Thank you ShareGuru and Erskine for talking real sense on this Board this morning - the risk has always been present but February might just see the start of a decent and prolonged ascension rather than previous spikes and dips - VGLA true 88ers.
Hi Beverley - I agree I would like to see a 138% rise in one day for 88E (plus much more besides!!) but not sure HE1 is a great example for investors (more of an example for traders). Their SP is up to 1.465p today but it was only last November their SP was over 6p and last August 9p so they have plummeted before they’ve seen this recent clawback. Hoping 88E will soon ascend and then plateau before ascending again (assuming once oil flow is proven commercial, we will find a higher reward for shareholders than what we are currently on) - VGLA
Hi Droverman - remembering that GGP’s revised MRE was independently verified and even shared with NEM before being issued, I will be gobsmacked if our new JV partners have the temerity to state our revised MRE is wildly off and the independent valuer is effectively incompetent!! Still, I suppose anything could happen where money is involved - VGLA.
