What in the name of Sam Hill is going on here? We get one out of the blue major SP slump and we have people stating we are ripe for a takeover, are willing to accept £5 share price (a pre- consolidation price of 25p!!!) and have forgotten all the struggles we (Shaun) went through to recover from Gervaise walking, Newcrest and Newmont playing Billy big balls with us and the expert BoD and Exec Team that Shaun built around him. Meanwhile the quality of Havieron still exists and Telfer is already predicted to produce Gold and Copper well past when Havieron kicks in AND we are pulling in serious amounts of cash each month and have ZERO debt, plus 3 major Banks ready to lend us substantial sums should we need it, but we probably won’t. We have the financial backing of the best known Oz billionaire and people are panicking over one day’s overreaction to Shaun’s typically conservative approach to the finances. Honestly, I cannot believe what I have had to read over the last couple of days. If you know what you’ve invested in, then like me you will put yesterday down to one of the bad days that EVERY share has and move on to more of the good days that we are due. If you are panicking and believing every rumour that will get floated then frankly you don’t deserve GGP. Stop whinging and take your money elsewhere, preferably a building society account where you will earn naff all but at least your money won’t go down. Rant over and I don’t intend posting much on here again until common sense returns.

Mmm SOLG is hardly breaking out to new levels is it GSent - 2 years ago in July 2023 it was at 15.86p and back in April 2022 it was at 38.30p. I think you mean SOLG is trying to recoup previous ATH’s which sounds similar to GGP but I know which one I would prefer to invest in considering timelines to get there.

Not sure I’m a huge fan of Zak Mir but he has just posted the following on ShareTalk so I thought I’d share: -

Comment: It is difficult to remember a busier quarter for any company anywhere, with so much achieved on many fronts. The issue now is for the shares to find a fair valuation once the dust settles.”

Well pointed out TheDoors - Bamps’ post at 11.43 this morning was the post of the day as it ratified what he told us at the Stroud Meeting and proves yet again that he only speaks facts, no emotion or hypotheses or or any of the panic being floated on here by those who know not what GGP is all about. I’m sure Shaun will regroup and come out fighting, as he too knows the facts of what is yet to come!! Time to switch off the white noise and await more news from Shaun imho!! Yes very nicely explained Buffa and I’m like PropertyBoy - been invested here for years and not going anywhere until GGP realises all of its potential and that starts with Havieron our jewel in the crown. The rest is white noise and comes with the territory of investing - nothing moves in a straight line but are the fundamentals in place to make GGP the place to invest? It’s a resounding yes imho but each to their own.

Looks pretty darn good to me for Q2 results - will look in more depth tomorrow.

Bless your naivety Saber - personally I only block those who troll or deliberately seek to mislead or become abusive. That accounts for over 100 “triers” who think it is fun to come on the board to deliberately disrupt. Debate is great and opposing opinions are thought provoking but my greenbin fills up when the poster(s) prove they are not up for that at all!!

Good advice Wiltshireman and I would just add that if you decide not to bin them for any reason (though personally I can’t think of one that outweighs the benefits of not having to read their tripe) then please at least, do NOT respond to them - that’s their lifeblood/oxygen and reason they post. Take that away from them then as Wiltshireman says, they are gone!! Good luck to all true Greatlanders for a ripping set of Q2 results 🤞🤞
