A bit more than A$138 million, that's for sure. A bit of legislation, not only in Europe, would be most welcome.

I believe Panmure said FY2020 there would be a shortfall of A$5 million which is manageable. £15 million may cover that as well. And there's always BdMS.....

Lewbo £15 million isn't much as you say, hopefully that is the maximum. As the current SP malaise is primarily down to the funding gap (and credibility shortfall) once that issue is answered the SP could recover to somewhere near last summers level as SEE are that much closer to big auto revenues. And that is before any new business. Assuming a raft of new business, primarily via the chip (quicker to market) and with momentum the SP could be making new highs this year. And that's before legislation.

Re Auto, SEE at present holds all the aces. It has a automotive grade chip, it is ISO 26262 compliant and has Tier 1's coming over to it from its main 'competitor', not that I rank SEYE as a serious competitor. Semicast believes that the coming legislation will be for 'safety' legislation and rates SEE as 'safety' and SEYE and everyone else (bar Nvidia which has its own problems) as 'convenience'. Let's hope he's right. So, as far as Europe is concerned (and quite possibly other regions) SEE has an open goal. By the time any competitor comes up with a 'safety' solution SEE will be in a Mobileye situation. Not that I expect SEE will be independent by the time there is real completion, I'd be very surprised SEE is in its current form this time next year, maybe a lot sooner.

Terry Let's not forget we're not a one trick pony. Despite its problems, Fleet still has a value. As does Off Road, Aviation and even Rail. Not sure of Nucoria? And not forgetting BdMS and that data that has an unknown value. Despite the SP, SEE is a lot closer to profit (which as S2020 correctly states shouldn't come into it) and has made a lot of progress and continues to do so. The SP could quickly change once funding is clarified and the RNS start to land in the next few months.

The fallout with Mobileye hasn't helped, Tesla's radar appears to have 'limitations'. If it insists on carrying on with its in house system, perhaps Elon might consider installing DMS, which quite probably would have led the driver to act in all the crashes mentioned in the article.

Lada, which is owned by Renault, sold 5,325 in Europe last year (360,000 in Russia) last year. With legislation, what do Renault do as regards 'safety' DMS (ie only SEE according to Semicast)? Differentiate between Europe and Russia or stop selling in Europe? The Lada Niva, fyi, sells for around £6,500 (basic) and £7,500 (basic).
