There's been talk recently that Visteon is coming over to SEE as did Autoliv (Veoneer) and Aptiv. The reason becomes more obvious with every passing model review or company report. Besides, can anyone seriously see Toyota using SEYE, just look at it's Guardian videos, somehow SEYE tech doesn't fit. And if that can be said of Toyota, it can be said of Honda and Nissan. Talking of the SEYE BB, latest post on the BMW review was 'good, see best tech now'. Either the poster is saying SEE is the superior technology or he missed the 'don't use above 40mph'.

Very true but SEYE hasn't had their TFD, is funded to profitability and its quite possible the markets are unaware of its problems, the SEYE BB certainly is not aware but even so is well placed to pick up convenience DMS even if prices in that niche are likely to come under pressure.

Lewbo Yes, SEYE do have problems currently. It would appear the Hyundai business was won on the cheap, maybe Jungo and other convenience DMS drove down the price (even though from what we hear Jungo does not compare), according to Semicast it is not ISO 26262 compliant, only ASIL B rating, availability not fantastic, and then acknowledges this by commencing to produce an auto grade chip with a company with a lack of Auto experience in the knowledge that even if it managed it by early 2021 (debatable) most if not all the 2023 business will have been decided. I know where I would be looking for business if I were SEYE, mainly China and the like.
