Beef I'd agree with caveats - 1. It looks like the EU will not be the only legislative area, Japan to follow with others closely behind. 2. SEYE pulled the carpet out from under its own feet ie 40mph. Other OEM's will follow, the competition is next to nowt (other than a power hungry Nvidia offering). Unless OEM's wait, there really isn't much competition in our chosen niche.

ET First you put up an RNS from two years ago, then you change tack to director buying, very weak. On top of that, you now state in Europe, for example, the drivers/occupants in a low/mid range car will be treated differently from a higher range car and allowed convenience DMS that doesn't work above, 40mph. I can feel another Yellow Jacket moment coming on. Very, very weak. As Terry said, Smarteye will get business but not for the reasons stated and not in the areas stated.

ET SmartEye will be fine as long as the OEM is making cars purely for a market that has no or limited legislation and also doesn't have an NCAP type body. So, ok with Geely who sell only to their domestic market. But as for Europe, the US and Japan, I don't think so. I can understand why the Vice Chairman bought but to base your entire investment decision on director buying is myopic. Yes, it would be good if our Chairman did similar but I wouldn't base my decision purely on that.
