I don't think the OEM's have a choice, of that I've been confident for some time before the fund raise. However, for your benefit, you continue to rank SEE and SEYE as competitors. But that is incorrect. SEE is safety DMS and SEYE is convenience DMS, two completely different products and that has become apparent from apparent following the news from Audi and BMW. And if you wait until the end of 2020 you'll probably get more proof and, who knows, we may get more proof soon. To paraphrase Clinton, it's all about safety DMS. OEM's at their peril will place SEYE DMS into any new model sold in Europe from 2022. But good luck in China and the like.

Phil Cenkos has R&D increasing year on year. Which is what you'd expect, stand still and get passed.

ET Yes, that's a large amount for the convenience sector to go for but there is a lot of competition for SEYE to deal with. Good luck to SEYE, it's going to need it!

ET, staystrongbro, @hozo94 You've been told numerous times about the sources and each time you come back and ask for the same information. So it would be pointless for me to waste my time pointing you in the right directions only for you to come back two weeks later for you to ask the same thing. So do your own research. As for SEYEs DWs, all of them are for convenience or traffic jam assist DMS, look at Audi, BMW and If you've got the patience Renault, Mitsubishi et al. And then look at the media coverage on Cadillac Super Cruise and compare it to the reviews of the models with SEYE 'DMS' included if you can find any.

ET Oh my god, there are a number of reasons it fails, please do some research.

ET I'm sorry but what competition? SEYE technology is so far behind it's not the same tech. However certain CEOs are passing it off as exactly that. The market is clueless at present to the difference but eventually it will know. And when it does, wait for the reaction. However, SEYE certainly does have a future but it's getting crowded in that sector.

ET I think SmartEye is going to need more than that, competition in the convenience DMS sector is cut throat. Eyesight are loaded. How is SmartEye going to pay for the chip? Current earnings will never pay for it, ask SEE.

It's a convenience, like a ready made meal I think!

S7 Actually it's not the first convenience DMS win in Japan, apparently Jungo won some in Japan and China last year. DMS is not just for safety and this is one of those occasions. However, you won't believe it until you see it so roll on late 2020.

ET Yes, well done. All contract wins are good but please unless you've definitive proof don't compare SEE (safety) and SEYE (convenience) DMS. These are two separate sub sections, that is why SEYE has announced its intention today to concentrate on China where legislation won't be ss onerous. It amazes me that Martin continues to state the 10 billion króna on offer unless that's the value of the Chinese domestic market. Of course, he has a placement to get off, otherwise I'd say he's being completely disingenuous.
