I assume that all who read this BB are holders of SEE shares and would like to see the share price attain a level far above where it's at and the company deserves the management it's technology merits and which can take it there. If the management is not up to scratch, it should do the honorable thing and walk. It is not for the owners of the company to accommodate an honourable exit by selling the company on the cheap! Are we now in Silly September following on from the Silly Season?

Maybe as a byproduct of legislation, this is affecting Fleet. It's been mentioned before that trucks and the like will be affected by the legislation no later than cars so other than retrofitting older vehicles Fovio will take the place of G2. G3 may therefore suffer as a consequence. So although it was the plan to use Fleet to see us through to profitability, accelerated legislation may affect that but ultimately increase long term profitability. Fleet is still well worth having though what with SaaS and of course the data.

Yep, we're on AIM and MMs doing what they do on AIM. I think Semicast is only saying what we already know. Namely, get your act together, be open with us, tell us how you intend to resolve the Fleet issues, and in the meantime at least one positive RNS would be very welcome. Posting snippets on social media ain't good enough at this time. That'll do for starters!

A question leading on from Semicasts tweet - As DMS is likely to be mandatory in your standard auto sometime soonish, who is going to pay for the DMS? As it will be mandatory, the cost is likely to be passed on to the customer as a one off cost. However, in a very short time after the launch of a new model (or even at launch) the cost of insurance for the new model will reduce so that over the course of the vehicles life the cost of the DMS is negative, with the added bonuses of road related injuries /deaths leading to less medical costs etc. So, in the end, we all end up winning. As we've seen with Fleet, there are already moves within the insurance industry and as insurance is so competitive, it will happen also in the standard Auto market.

Phil Yes we could be in a better place but as you said Jaguar was a long time ago. And what's happened since? NCAP,... Maybe Safestocks is correct and confirmation will come soon.

Robbie I'm open to persuasion but what recent events have highlighted is the requirement in certain parts of the business for more specialist knowledge. Either that or consideration of a licensing deal. It seems at present of a case of boys with their toys. However, we've gone past that point and we're living with grown ups. And grown ups usually specialise, trying to be a master of all trades usually ends up with being less competent in all of them!!

As has recently been postulated directly from SEE, all the different sectors of the business will be using the Fovio chip soon. Fovio is SEE. You sell Fovio, you sell SEE. You may license certain (or all) sectors of the company but you retain control of Fovio, you are licensing the right for other concerns to use the chip, you are not selling the IP associated with the chip. Read Semicast, we are a software company with valuable IP, and data for that matter. You sell the IP, you have nothing so unless the company is sold, licensing various sectors will still see the most valuable part of the company, Fovio, intact.

SEE need to get their finger out, issue 'positive' RNS', SP goes up some way higher, a low ball bid is made that reflects the higher SP, this attracts the other 9 Tier 1's, and price is bid up which in turn attracts the Apples of this world who incidentally may be using our technology already and want our data gathering engine otherwise known as Guardian! And we all end up very rich!!

Whether it's a low ball bid or a Battle of the Titans, Safestocks always comes back to the conclusion that there will be a bidding war. In either event, I hope in this he's right. (Does a bidding war end up as a Battle of the Titans anyway?). Chris has a good record and I hope he keeps it up!!

I just hope if/when we do supply Apple /Waymo /GM Cruise there isn't a NDA in place. It would be some RNS ' Seeing Machines is supplying Apple...'!

Although after witnessing the share price decimated this week it may be hard to see, the current issues may prove to be a blessing if it leads the management to make a strategic decision to divest itself of Fleet (to start with) with a Caterpillar type deal and then focus itself on Auto providing the software on a chip. I'm sure there are a number of concerns who would be interested in Fleet. As for a Mobileye type valuation, that will only happen if/when the market recognises SEE for what it is and if/when SEE has market domination. At present, that is clearly not the case but that is not to it will stay that way forever.

S2020 & Sebs, As per Semicasts tweet recently, SEE is a software company with IP. So, yes, why is SEE trying to manufacture Guardian et al. I'd agree, other than Auto where Tier 1's do the donkey work, why is SEE trying to be a manufacturer with all it's potential pitfalls? It's not our area of expertise. Very bright people but... doh!!!!

Again, Semicasts latest tweet is very apt. It would appear we're not alone in having problems although that's no consolation!!

SEE have downgraded forecasts that have never been issued. Any additional loans would be based on the security of the Auto wins (as per Semicasts email).

There may well be a placing. However, think back to Semicasts email reply to S2020 following the meeting with KK and others where Semicast said they could borrow. Assuming we have positive RNS' maybe a placement isn't the only option?
