So there's possibly a low ball bid and it appears that the following are in collusion to depress the share price in order to facilitate said low ball offer - 1. The company and it's directors /founders who for their own reasons prefer to make considerably less money than they would with a reasonable offer. 2. Their brokers following client instructions to keep schtum and opening themselves up to charges of collusion. 3.Market makers who also join in the collusion and suppress the share price in order to facilitate the low ball bid. 4. Private investors and maybe II's who despite knowing of a potential low ball bid do not go on a buying spree. 5. Add your own to the list.
In my experience, at the first sign of a bid, the SP is significantly increased. Here, the opposite has happened, there has been no interest, we are in the Silly Season, there has been no positive news recently and Milton are or were selling. Coupled with the fact, the last person we know got exactly the opposite impression doesn't suggest there is a bid imminent.
Yes, due to the speculation, SEE needs to issue a response either to confirm or deny it, then we can move on, either way.
