So, at present, who would the multiple Tier 2's be? I can only, at a throw, name 3. Those being SEE, SEYE and possibly Fotonation. Assuming all 3 get 25%, that leaves a shortfall of 25%. And it is highly likely OEM's will want to begin implementation quickly which may lead them to the best in class. Talking these and other factors into account I think SEE's market share is likely to be nearer 90% rather than 25%

If there's one thing Semicast is spot on about it's that the market is completely oblivious about what SEE have. But for how long will that continue is the question? Whatever the catalyst is, the markets reaction should be interesting to watch. Obviously today's news whelmed them big time as no numbers attached, yet!

Possible. However, as you said there's smoke there? Just one possible explanation. A tweet from SemiCast a few days ago mentioned the main holders in SEE. Assuming the bidder has over 20% or SEE know it's approaching that, and you knew the bid vastly undervalued the company what would you do? Talk to the main shareholders and garner enough support preemptively?

There could well be fire after the smoke, in London to garner support to reject any low ball bid. SemiCast certainly doesn't hint at that ie a tech giant in the making won't happen if we're gobbled up, especially on the cheap!

Telling them to load up because there's 5+ auto and also rail/air RNS to come in the next month, nudge nudge))))

To me, it's clear from his tweet from around 9 hours ago and latest one that he does not agree with some posters views that SEE can only achieve it's ambitions by finding a parent company due it would appear the Fovio chip. And after his meeting with SEE today, he seems super bullish which I believe speaks volumes as regards the reaction of the BoD's if it received a low ball bid which I welcome if only for the fact of the attention it would bring. Like S2020, I kinda like Mr SemiCast)))

S2020, a fair enough appraisal and highlights the importance of Auto. And yes £1 is on the cheap side (I much prefer SemiCasts $10/&10 target) but a good place to start. SemiCast is spot on, the market is clueless!!

As the man from BMW said 'please have a little more patience', enough patience for the Titans to come calling, hopefully!. The 3 year lead we have over the rest of the market is the main attraction to those who may well be interested in SEE and I think further proof in the form of Auto RNS ' is likely to put SEE firmly in the headlights of said Titans.

'leaders in their respective fields.' might also have something to do with the comparison. Not a bad comparison to make coming from someone who called it right (big time) on ARM!! £17 is certainly more preferable than 20p))))
