My opinion FWIW.
The SP has further to drop before it turns upward once again. Between now and the eventual upturn I anticipate noisy outbursts by the CWU and possibly a vote for strike action. Provided its orchestrated legally (CWU won't want the decision overturned in court again) we could be looking at a strike. At this time the SP will be considerably lower.
We may then see cooler heads prevail, a strike diverted and a rise in SP. Otherwise strikes commence and we sink into a dark unknown and eventual takeover which will not be pleasant for the CWU and workshy

Although it's not correct to tar all with the same brush. I tend to agree that there appear to be far too many workshy that rely on safety in numbers and the CWU to keep them in a job.
RMG could be so much better and who knows if it gets cheap enough maybe a substantial investor might be the catalyst it requires.

Oli. Quoting the entire group profits would be obscuring the fact that GLS is the more efficient section. Plus of course why increase pay by using profits from GLS. The Uk entity should be making its own way

Oli. I totally agree with all your comments. Just don't have the same viewpoint regarding the eventual outcome. Seems both the Minister & CEO have come to the correct conclusion that the unions must not be allowed to "hold the Country to ransom.
The CEO has declared what the Company is prepared to offer the employees. Unfortunately over time this has become a debatable figure. The Company should always offer what it's prepared to pay from the outset. The workforce knowing this isn't debatable should accept. Otherwise find alternate employment.
No doubt in my mind the U.K will be forced to reintroduce a foreign workforce once again. This previously brought down wages. I knew Ukrainian HGV drivers who were willing to take on U.K employment. Unfortunately they are otherwise engaged but will be available again. There are however other nationalities ready and willing once the gates open.
The U.K workforce are their own worst enemy when they betray the British public who pay their wages. Of course IMHO but I'm never wrong ;-)))

I see there's some joined up thinking at last with regard to strikes.

Nibbled huh! One thing for sure, you have purchased nearer the bottom than top. We have had a reduction in the short element for the time being but no longer term indication as yet. We shall have a clearer picture of where the SP is heading in due course.
Of one thing I'm sure anyone buying at these prices will be handsomely rewarded in the course of time.
Sometimes a bit white knuckle here but worth the ride

That's a bigger drop than usual though. Looks promising. Previous total 4.30 down to 3.74.

Just had a look through recent messages and am thinking "been here before" depressing to be proved correct and history is once again repeating. Despite the newer members suggesting late 2021 that the more established here had no idea.
So what does it mean? RMG going down the pan? I think not. More a case of repeating because most don't learn from their mistakes. They brush the dust off old arguments and start again.
Of course we have a suitor waiting in the wings but does he really want the aggro of RMG ? Personally I would doubt it. GLS, without the baggage maybe, we shall see.
In the meanwhile get used to heated conversations and insults. All in a day's work for RMG shareholders.
