Does it? Were I a union member my preference would be that they drop the antagonist attitude. The BOD have seen it so many times before, that they must basically file the early responses and think to review at a later date. I would be more impressed were both sides to reach agreement around their opening positions.

Why this talk of follow on here? By the time you learn he has made his move the SP has been affected and your at best second best. In fact not even that because yoy have joined the lemmings.
Surely the object of the game is to anticipate the next move and preempt it. Just ensure you don't screw yourself if it's a wrong move. Risk some but keep some powder dry

Oli. Glad to hear you are still with us ;-) can't really say I doubted it for a second. Pretty sure I have your measure by now. Although one can't always rely on history to forecast future.
However, RMG SP. There has been a dark shadow over the RMG stock since inception. So many occasions when back scratching or worse are the only answer to occurences.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind that coffers are being filled by nudges and winks. You mention shorters being gifted prior knowledge. I'm sure we would never prove anything but there have has been various misdoings from the very beginning when institutions were basically gifted sacks of cash at tax payers expense. Corruption will exist for as long as we do.
Countless times it's been said but what can be proved? Personally I don't believe many of the large price movements are down to events other than manipulation.
There was a time when I would say such things and be chastised by the self appointed experts.
Check back if your totally bored and you see my predictions of current events when we were above a fiver not so long ago. Those that like to spar will poo poo but they were doing the same when I was also posting live my various purchases in the £1.20's
The stock prices of days ago were cases in question. Now they don't even try to hide. As an expert was saying during a recent podcast. It's technically illegal. It's NOT! it's either legal or not. But lawmakers etc are making money so what chance.

Oli, it need not be mentioned the shorters have their movements ready to go even before the first whisper from CWU. They create situations from thin air but knowing TP will soon be opening his big gob the are assured of yet another big party day at shareholders expense. Unbelievable that posties are often shareholders too.

You say "asking for a friend" wouldn't be initials TP would it? ;-) I could give the benefit of my experience, however maybe best ask Amazon. I see another vote there has rejected Union representation. How on Earth do Amazon manage with I believe upwards of 1.6 million employees.

When was the last CWU strike by RMG workers, how long did it last, what was the outcome, other than a return to work of course ;-)

However it could take a while and depends on just how greedy the shorters will be this time around.
We see their machinations continue in a totally blatant manner. They cannot take our shares or forbid us to load up when they drop lower, so in that respect we control our future returns. It takes strong resolve and of course sufficient funds to weather the storm.

I watched a very interesting podcast in which comments were made regarding similar shenanigans to which RMG stock were subjected days ago. Comment was "it's technically illegal but"
