Apologies that my responses may have left you with the impression that I "fully side with RMG management and never with the posties" It's actually not the case. There are always two sides to an argument however when one conducts themselves as badly as TP of the CWU from what I read and hear. Then I tend to side with the more professionally approach. As for not understanding a posties lot. I believe I have a reasonable understanding, certainly sufficient to make a reasoned judgement. As for trying the job. I am certainly physically fit enough but discovered at a young age that I had a good brain. That propelled me from humble beginnings and continues to provide a good lifestyle. In conclusion I'm not anti postie I'm anti the loud mouthed louts who profess to have the members interests front and foremost.

Oli. I am a staunch supporter of RMG. Initially with a mother who was an employee years ago and as a shareholder since 2013.
However I detest the machinations of the CWU. In my mind once workers stop talking to the owners of the Company and place their futures in the hands of Unions it's a downward slope.
I have watched the goings on and listened to the CWU mouthpieces for too long. The Company needs to be free to take its strengths and grow more. Of course with the workforce backing. No Company can be its best with a hostile workforce or one represented by a hostile Union.
I shall not have acrimonious conversations with you in future because I have read your comments for far too long and know where your coming from. You believe in what you say and I respect that. We shall merely disagree on occasions.

Watched the report from TP. Poor man seems quite upset., Apparently he had an urgent meeting in a cafe with the CEO. Where one might conclude he was totally blindsided. Wouldn't trust TP to run a bath. Of course the Company are taking this approach the CWU has been a thorn long enough

Mr Kretinsky is not interested in a Company that is supposed to play softball with CWU. This is a business man he has accumulated a fortune and doesn't take prisoners.
My feeling he will add to his holding while the Company slowly rots from within. Then he will play his Ace.
In the meanwhile we should accumulate when prices reduce or hold what we have.

Talk. Thanks for the update. That employees feel the need for IA is quite disappointing. However two ways to consider first that their asking more than is warranted or their not :-)
Time has a habit of finding a way through such things. As for investing more, depends on your acceptable level of risk. Few would argue that at these prices there is a good chance of future profit others being a bit less concerned about level of risk will hold on for further reductions. I tend to be the latter.

We go through all this disruption which always ends with an agreement. Although of course there is a core that look forward to a period of disruption which to them ensures financial gain. Are we really any different in that we top up.
