Yes, Biden's administration trying to spend their way out of debt isn't helping anyone, least alone them. And it doesn't look like Trump is going to be any different, time will tell.
It's a shame this board is degenerating into political discussions. We all have our opinions about the Westminster lot, of whatever colour, but maybe better to leave it there? There are some great posters on here, offering some real insight. It would be a shame to lose that. Enough said.
Back to LGEN. I am toying with the idea of an annuity. Never thought I would but it seems as you get older (I'm 61) you become more risk averse, whether you realise it or not. I know they have their downsides but the idea of a guaranteed income for life is starting to look attractive, particularly in the uncertain world we now live in. So, should I be buying more LGEN (and other high-yielding stocks to spread the risk a bit), putting the money into an annuity, or maybe spread the money across both?
Any ideas/insight/experience (obviously won't be taken as advice!) would be very much appreciated.
