Hi Plant, this isn't a simple yes or no; It's a very grey area and would probably end up in an expensive and protracted IP case.

If the goods are purchased by company X in a territory where PHE do not have a patent and company X brings it in to the UK for its own use, then it becomes a very murky area. Technically no transaction has taken place in the protect territory, so there's no financial loss to PHE.

PHE's biggest problem would be finding out what patent infringements have taken place and how to establish this, before even getting to a court. Industrial IP can drag on for years, if not decades - not saying this would!

At one point Samsung had about 120 outstanding IP cases against Apple and Apple had a similar amount against Samsung! Not to mention all the other cases in the 2000's between these two, along with Nokia, Motorola, Sony, Ericsson and LG!

I'd say it's more likely the person who is posting pages and pages of utter nonsense about PHE in 5 years plus and not focusing on what will drive the SP in the short term / possible company survival.

This country used to produce much of its own food, rather than importing so much of it. There’s some huge advancements in greenhouse tech for growing agri and soft fruit crops

I don’t disagree, but I think you’ll find the UK workforce is not as motivated and hard working as it used to be!!

There’s an increasing percentage of people in this country who simply expect to land wages and jobs they’re not qualified for and can’t be bothered to train up to earn what they expect.

I know a few people who employ labourers and they often end up taking on working migrants, because they’re hardworking, don’t moan and are really reliable.

You only need to do your own research to see Hydrogen is being scaled back from where it was 2 years ago.

I’d suggest your sources are very out of date and not official sauces, ie from magazines and websites gauging what it might be worth one day!!

15Lives – I agree, the Whites are not selling, certainly not in any volume and generally it seems like ‘normal’ market activity.

My only other thought is a conspiracy theory; the Whites sell small amounts to keep the price low, to then buy back, creating a steady increase over 10 days, then repeat……

Why? Maybe to keep the price in a low range (circa 1p) with a longer-term view for HUI to takeover PHE once all the expensive R&D is completed?

As I say, a bit of a conspiracy theory.

If I'd been averaging up like Castle suggested we all did/do, them I would be panicking a bit.

It's why I get so annoyed about folk ramping shares to others, especially when (as 15 has pointed out) they just don't understand the market and competition.
