Holdings have to be declared when they reach, exceed or fall below 3% and then for every 1% threshold from there, both increases and decreases. This is the FCA rule for UK issuers such as Avacta. The EU directive sets the threshold at 5%.
So Conifer would have to declare when they reached or went below 3%, if selling, and when they reached or exceeded 4%, if buying.
I think the rule applies to all shareholders, whether UK or otherwise, but I’m not convinced everyone sticks to these rules in the UK, yet alone abroad.
