Hi Dansul - I was meaning a ruling on the original court-case where the court decided to suspend Centamin's licence. - The ruling has never been overturned. It has been suspended, but that is not the same as being dismissed. - Presently, if I'm understanding correctly we operate under the temporary status of being allowed to continue whilst the suspension of ruling is in place. - Law 32 is a different kettle of fish but not totally unrelated. - If Law 32 is passed then it will change the status of the original court-ruling suspending Centamin's licence. - We could then get on with life without the overhanging impediment that the court-ruling imposes. If Law 32 is abandoned, then it's back to the court for a decision on the original ruling. this is the one I fear we might lose.

My fear is that were we to revert to the original court-case for a ruling, we might lose. - There's too much of an unsolved mystery when it comes to this case, that makes for unease and discomfort.

Indeed Crockedskier. - In a single asset holding, anything affecting said asset and everything goes for a burton. - Share-price, dividends, the lot. - Extreme vulnerability.

Speaking personally, for me, optimism lies in the hope and expectation that Centamin moves forward in a growth-phase this year. - Its strong fundamentals marking it out as a company in a strong position to take advantage of current opportunities. - If they don't, our future will languish in shallows and we will forever be debating the rights and wrongs of using profits for paying dividend as opposed to growing into a multi-mine operation. The ongoing argument between scalpers, dividend investors and growth investors. IMO

For me, a lot will depend on whether Starmer can be taken prisoner by the 'City' or not. - For all I know, he may already be in their camp. - I'm not a Corbynite by any means, but he frightened the 'City' because they couldn't buy him. - So they used every means at their disposal to assasinate him. - The press did a helluva job on him from the getgo. - The anti-semitic lobby ceaselessly pounding him from within and then finally the inner Labour elites with daggers hidden beneath their cloaks to strike at every opportunity. - All 'City' prisoners. - IMO

I believe the bidding-round for new Egyptian permits opened on the 19th March. - I wonder if Centamin will make it known through the Annual reporting process, or otherwise, whether they have made application..

Many companies share-price now seriously exposed, becoming victims of virus circumstances through no fault of their own. - Perhaps the government should consider placing a moratorium on all hostile take-over bids to prevent unfair-predation. - Just a thought.
