It's a pity that Law 32 has not been passed. - It would prevent any mischeivous legal action from third-parties taking place. - As things stand, I believe I'm right in saying there is nothing to prevent a further AlFakharany episode. - Given the Governments desire to expand economic activity, you would have thought that they would have given priority to tidying-up/addressing this issue.

Hi Sotolo - For tax reasons, I thought you always sold your shares prior to ex-div and repurchased after price-drop following ex-div. - Instead of 37% on divi's you go for 20% on CGT. - Perhaps I've misunderstood.

Minesh - If you held them on ex-divi day you would still recieve payment.
