Agree about positive promotion. -One thing I've learned with Centamin is that these clumsy ill-timed leaks are not mistakes They are deliberate and serve a purpose. - Exactly what this time that purpose is, I confess I don't know. - Time may provide us with an answer.

Meant to add: - Mitigation against lower forecast could be the announcement of new-permits at the same time. - It'll be interesting to see if this is the case.

The depleted production forecast for 2021 will also be weighted towards the second-half and mainly the final quarter. It can't be anything else. - I wonder how the market will take to this.

Hi Marmot, agree with the points you make about Horgan having meaningful personal skin in the game instead of the measly pocket-money investment he currently holds. - However, I would be surprised if he were to add shares this side of results. - Don't forget, he knows what's coming.- If he does, it will be a huge positive I feel. - I wouldn't hold my breath though.

I note from Siko's post, if I have understood correctly, that discussions are still in play with Emra regarding the new permits.
It's possible these include the use of Sukari assets to process material mined from truckable new permit areas. - It could turn out to be a tricky one this. - Why would EMRA agree to their mine being used by an outside source with the potential to interrupt the efficient working of the Sukari assets? - Speculation on my part of course but if the new permits are adjacent/contiguous to Sukari, it's possible that the current discussions involve this accomodation.

I think Sotolo sometimes uses 'Spellcheck' which may have interpreted Centamin as Phentermine. Sotolo has indicated this anomaly in the past.

If it was only about arithmetic, but it isn't, it's about maintaining control at all cost and at any cost. It is this element of the equation that throws the logic of the arithmetical approach out of kilter and continually wrong-foots and confounds everyone. - A very worrying development. - An experiment of gargantuan proportions, it's effects unknown with the potential to destroy us all. - IMO

POG being orchestrated at will now. - There has always been manipulation but never so blatant and so overtly IMO. - All in the knowledge that the law will not intervene. - For me this is the most worrying aspect of what is unfolding before our eyes. - Where are the boundaries and who will patrol them? - How will this attitude spill-over into other aspects of our lives?

Just a theory: -In terms of news-management, it's possible that new licence/permits news will be delayed and announced at the same time as Q4 production news. - The idea being that good news on permits will help mitigate what is expected to be bad news on production figures. - Might be worth keeping a check on announcements made by other permit winners for a clue.

Agree Mr Brains - Horgans pocket-money purchase more a token/gesture than an act of commitment. -If we're talking about skin-in-the-game, it represents a minor-graze. - If he was filling his petrol-tank it wouldn't move the needle. Does not fall into a substantial or meaningful category. - Even more so considering he's the CEO. - IMO

Sorry chips - I see what you mean, I've taken it out of context haven't I? . - With regards to your collecting, is there always a decent supply available amongst the flotsam of car-boot sales and the likes? - I'm thinking about the expense involved in travelling around. Also, I presume you do your own smelting?
