Normally you would receive a cash settlement through your broker/company registrar. - No new shares involved unless the terms of the takeover are such as to issue shares in the takeover company as payment. - Sometimes it can be a combination of cash + shares. So, depends on the terms agreed. Whatever, all done through broker/registrar.

I'm fairly sure that In the event of a takeover, the shares now currently held by you would be transferred to the new owner at the price per share agreed at the time. - You would have no say in it and the negotiations would be undertaken by your broker or the company registrar if you hold paper certificate. - Hope this helps.

The idea of sabotage is not a new experience here. - 2019's mine-incident collapsing the SP in a stroke proved to be perfect-timing for the Endeavour approach. - So, the idea that the west-wall set-back is a fabrication to accommodate a new attempt is not so outrageous. - This is how the chess board here is laid-out and played out . - Too much previous with Centamin I'm afraid to rule out such shenanigans. - The cc is another unexplained example. - However, all it can be is conjecture until proven otherwise.
