I'm just speculating here, but it's possible that Barrick could just take Pharoahonic over by purchasing the asset from Centamin - Under such circumstances, Centamin would remain in tact as a quoted company with it's assets in W Africa plus the proceeds form the sale, plus any new concessions gained in Egypt. -I can't work-out where this would leave Centamin in terms of value and how it would affect current shareholders. - It's such a way-out thought I suppose and so highly unlikely that I accept I may be getting carried away a little bit.

If Barrick is awarded the concessions around Sukari that should provide a clue. - It's probably the reason that no news yet released. - As Cowichan says, Alton has broken-cover regarding new-permits so details are known. - As always, the intrigue builds. - If pressed, I couldn't construct a logic to support my comments, it's just an outside hunch. - One thing I have learned here is to expect the unexpected. - If the hunch proves to be correct, we will get stuffed I feel.

Hi Tibbs - Oft times, in the history of mining companies, the SP reaches a peak on the basis of expectations rather than actual results. - The skill/reward is in the timing.

Clarity: - Just a punt. - I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with using Sukari assets in connection with the development of the new concessions. - The plant at Sukari is the property of EMRA and whilst this will not in any way affect the existing contract, there may be problems outside of this. - Just speculating.

I wouldn't count on it. - I think what will unfold is a demonstration of the raw-power that can be exercised when the law turns a blind-eye. - Hope I'm wrong. - The problem isn't the manipulation but rather that regulation is not prepared to intervene to protect. IMO
