Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Elric,
If you haven’t done so already I would recommend you catching up with yesterday’s Croda Consumer Care seminar (probably available in their IR archive).
They covered much on future plans including the beauty care part of business in which resides Sederma. You will know full well that Matrixyl is their critical skin care ingredient and that there has been much speculation that the sbtx lysate is the natural replacement given the supposed investment by Sederma.
Peptides are the Matrixyl ‘magic’ element and there is much development activity in that space with the stated intention of enhancing Matrixyl but no mention of microbiome, pre or probiotics as part of their development.
Do check it out
I beg your pardon? Are you suggesting I can't tell the difference between a surface with or without writing? Also that Matt's friend similarly can't tell that difference. Or perhaps we are just deramping for the sake of it? Because you have received products + instructions it doesn't mean that everybody else has so a little less of the rudeness.
The packaging is the responsibility of Axis as it should have had sufficient structure and strength designed in to withstand any undue pressure. Given the assumption the packages are sent with others and not loosely packed with heavier items. Was it tested or just a rush job?
No doubt we shall learn more of progress next week
Matt, I recommended to a friend who suffers from psoriasis. Whilst some limited signs of benefit the order/delivery process that they experienced was farcical. Delivery, pre Christmas, took 3 weeks despite cheery message from Axis on receipt of their order that it was on its way. On eventual arrival, flimsy package crushed, no instruction leaflet, no instructions on the box and no instructions on the individual powder packets. It could have been anything!
Whilst some could argue 'early days' this amateurism does not endear Axis/Skin to customers particularly when Axis are expecting/hoping for long term relations. SBTX has presented itself in a very professional manner since IPO days so a shame to spoil with what I assume was an over enthusiastic rush to get product to market.
MB I hope if your friend decides to continue with Axis that the product is better presented and you friend is given an insight into contents!!
.....of course she can't prescribe it! It's not an approved, prescription drug. However, her personal and professional credibility is such that I'm confident psoriasis sufferers will listen to her entire message and then act accordingly. All she's saying is, 'give it a try'!
Thanks for posting this link Elrico.
I would urge everybody to watch this video. Dr Emma Wedgeworth is a consultant dermatologist with a Harley Street clinic. A very well qualified 'influencer' and if SBTX can engage similarly well qualified influencers both here in the UK and, most importantly, in the US then I believe significant sales should follow. For example, she is recommending that it is tried for a minimum of 3 months!
LLOL, in the unlikely event of that happening I do wish that SOH would present himself in a more professional fashion.
The tatty office with the tulip patterned strip of curtain and ancient Gareth Bale poster plus him in the same old white shirt (well it was white originally but been washed so many times it's turning grey!!) really does give the impression that Opti operates out of a shed in the middle of a field.
Also perhaps he could change the camera angle so that the viewer is not forced to look up his nose and also find a synonym for 'partner'!! It would pay dividends if SOH watched some of SA's presentations over on SBTX. Slick, professional, enthusiastic delivery from a smart office. Not too difficult!
An alternative of course would be to hand over some of the communication duties to another, more presentable board member. I suspect that SOH's ego is such that nobody can do anything better than him with regard to Opti
Derampers are a fact of life, whether you like it or not. They will continue to rubbish a share in order to achieve their objectives. So, instead of trying to work out who is commenting on the PA site or, indeed, any other than could promote the benefits of AxisBiotix do something about it.
How many regulars to this board have referenced 'friends' or 'contacts' who have supposed to benefit from AxisBiotix? If these claims are true, why don't you get them to post on the PA site. Sufficient positive commentary is the only way to counter the negativity and help psoriasis sufferers, the company and our investments.
So stop moaning and speculating and do something constructive.
Leapfroggy
Exactly why comments from individuals who have had positive results using AxisBiotix are needed to counter the de-ramping, anti brigade. An ignorant, spiteful group doing no end of harm in many spheres including where people are hesitant about covid vaccinations. The PA is a soft target

Top right tab 'forums'. Play around with these and you will find a lengthy exchange about the benefits or not of AxisBiotix. Postive commentary welcome!
Scroll down to bottom of home page. Section headed 'Your stories'. Self exlanatory.
As a collective of share holders we need to do what we can to stop the sp dropping so positive experiences on the PA site must help if genuine.
Greenas1953.
Great that you are seeing positive results from using AxisBiotix..
Assuming that yours is a genuine post and not one of the ramper's stories that drop onto this site, it would be fantastic if you could share your experience on the PA site. They have a number of forums. In addition, on their home page there is a section entitled "Your stories' where members share their experiences.
The PA site, more so than this board, is more likely to be visited by people who would benefit from AxisBiotix. It might also help the support the sp!
Belgrano, do you spend all your time stuck in front of a screen monitoring SBTX comms? You’re like a mother hen clucking around protecting her brood from perceived dangers. We’re not all gifted with your rose-tinted specs or long list of ‘contacts’ in the know. You're clearly troubled by any opinions that don’t fall in line with your own subjective, dare I say it, rampastic view. However, many of us, like me, rely on their own research and investment strategy. We tend not to be swayed by any form of bias on these boards, positive or negative. Instead of accusing individuals, who might have a different view, even slight, to your own, of being trolls, derampers or whatever, you should be encouraging as many different points of view as possible. You never know you might learn something!
Now for my earlier post. Suggest you read again and have a think! The hype pre-launch of AxisBiotix was based on study results not a trial. In the short to medium term, the only clear and valid direction we will get on the success of this supplement will be from sales data backed-up by validated user experiences. The launch, as I point out, was not a success from an investor’s standpoint. Just look at the sp! Furthermore, from what I can see there has been zero publicity which one would have expected if AxisBiotix was as ground-breaking as has been suggested. Why is this, as it is potentially a huge story given the difficulties experienced by psoriasis sufferers?
So what is going to provide a positive sp uplift? Certainly not AxisBiotix and the evidence is staring us all in the face. Short term it can only be a Sederma announcement. I rest my case!
AS, in my opinion a Sederma launch announcement is the only thing that's likely to rescue the sp from this freefall.
Clearly AxisBiotix has not had the positive results that were expected on launch. There may be some positive news when sales/subscription figures are released but in the interim if it was such a beneficial supplement then I would have expected plenty of media coverage but nothing.
Very disappointing of late!
Vas, not the case. A major benefit of this deal with AWS is for easier rural community access to centralised services. Instead of the need for a localised infrastructure e.g. routers, most services such as routing, security and network bandwidth are provided through AWS's cloud network making it significantly easier, cheaper and secure to rollout FDBK's solutions.
IMO, this morning's RNS addresses one of, if not the biggest, problem of providing IT services, for whatever function, to poor, widely dispersed rural communities. It's a game changer!
Dr A. Yes, fair point about the opportunity for PIs. It would have been easier and cheaper to restrict participation to IIs
I do still, however, contend that the whole process to-date has been somewhat 'amateurish' and not the smooth exercise that I would expect with an IPO. On reflection it is probably more to do with Aquis being an immature market rather than any of the parties directly involved.
I will follow with interest!
Dave, agree with all LZ's points. Also add, that I have participated in a number of AIM IPOs and have decided against participating in the HUI IPO because of the very amateurish way in which it is being managed. Not what I've experienced previously and, unfortunately, not what I expected.
Totally agree Aquae.
Too many deliverables are always just round the corner. One of the big deals that SOH is constantly wittering on about need to drop and demonstrate serious revenue contribution rather than constantly slipping albeit Covid an obvious short term reason.
I found the early slide listing the criteria for a good investment seriously patronising. Coincidently each point neatly mapped onto what SOH sees as an Opti strength. Key one missing for me, as I suspect would be the case for most/all investors, is a rising share price! Perhaps it is of limited interest to him despite the time spent talking about the share price.
