Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
With the possible exception of two underwhelming videos, yesterday's presentation was excellent.
It was good to see SA clearly and firmly layout SBTX's strategic direction and upcoming deliverables at the same time as rebutting the negativity that has been much in evidence recently. His message was clear and to the naysayers a very direct., 'F*** off'!
Thanks bubsythecat for your post with TW's latest. It's the closest he'll ever get to an apology but I suppose a start in the right direction. As for our local trolls, e.g. Oleric and Belgrano, they've gone very quiet. Probably choking on humble pie!!
There is still a lot of negativity about Manprit. Agreed, he doesn't come across well in presentations but why should he? He's a bloody accountant not a marketeer. Given his background, he would have been all over the Dermatonics acquisition. A gem of a purchase and clearly an excellent fit for SBTX's strategy
The manner in which SBTX is developing, albeit slowly, IMO both SA and MR are perfectly entitled to their salaries. Even those before yesterday's announced reductions.

Today's Telegraph but behind paywall. Ex- SAS mercenary Simon Mann to chair HUI. Claims to have gone green!
Also margins too low for SOH to bother. Same as for UK supermarkets. SP might be slow burn but he's getting his act together
Thanks mol.
Best interview with SOH for a very long time. Less of the arrogance and a lot more useful and interesting content
SOH came across as uncharacteristically nervous at start of presentation. Maybe, just maybe, he is beginning to realise that a buoyant SP is more important to PIs than just 'building a company' and that we're all getting a tad peed off with the excuses and under performance. It may only be his paper losses that encourages the sentiment but if it helps to provide some focus on enhancing the sp then it can do no harm.
Whether we like it or not, we are going to have to swallow 2022 results which, based on the earlier presentation, are going to be a horror story. Suspect a key aim of this afternoon was to let us all down gently. Perhaps dishing out flack jackets and helmets would have been useful!!
As for the future, I'd all but written off my not insignificant investment in OPTI but in the hope that he can deliver in the timescales suggested then I do believe there is a future with 2nd generation products.
What a garbled delivery! Some useful information towards the end of the presentation would have benefitted from a more measured delivery. The intro slides we've had time after time. I'm not interested in his time at 3M!!! However, once 2022 results are out of way then the near term future makes this an interest averaging down opportunity
Undoubtedly yet another boring, content free monologue about how to build a successful company.....not!!
Slide 3 of the National H2 presentation, 'National H2 has exclusive rights for the patented technology in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Malaysia'
IMO, you do not have exclusivity on that scale without a contract being in place with the technology source. Any such contract awarded to a UK quoted company would require the issuance of an RNS. We haven't had that so I would suggest patience/caution until such time as it is announced formally by PHE.
A great result though if it turns out to be true
I've met SOH on a few occasions albeit some years ago. I found him an arrogant individual and wouldn't have invested in Opti but for the technology which I'm still impressed with. I suspect that he takes a very rigid position, 'I founded the company and it's my way or no way!' What young, ambitious executive would tolerate having their ideas dashed? Not for long that's for sure.
.........no doubt none of them could stand working with SOH any longer than necessary. Amazing the high turnover of senior staff at Opti!!
Try Googling Opti Investor Podcast. Not too difficult!!!
Oleric
Glad you recognised the sarcasm in my post. Perhaps I should have added for the benefit of the unenlightened that the purchase of this company supplying the NHS may well be the only route to revenues in the short term (can't quantify!!) given the slow take-up of AxisBiotix and the, as yet, non-existent royalties.
Bigpunt, probably not Meghan Markle. More likely Harry Markle with copious amounts of hair colouring!!
On a more serious note, sbtx is supposedly all about skin microbiome so why talk about buying another company. This company is clearly not in the skin microbiome space otherwise it would be a familiar name to sbtx investors - yes/no?!! Rather suggests that the groundbreaking discoveries of the Manchester research team are nothing more than snake oil
