Basically there was a fire sale on stock at ASOS hence revenue falling and margin slipping. Costs have dramatically fallen. BOO are in one of the best places to absorb the falling costs, especially with freight times and costs way down our test and repeat model will be working as it should.

The old board really did pickle asos. Buying way too many items and taking on way to many brands that no one was interested in. Has hurt the business a lot. There is a glimmer of hope, the new CEO seems switched on and is working towards getting this business back to profit.

ASOS only recently implementing a test and react model. Sounds very similar to BOO’s test and repeat model where they have pinned a lot of their hopes on moving forward due to profitability. Reading this across ASOS completely pickled themselves buying way too much stock of the wrong things. Thankfully Boo’s model has always been tight inventory management and stock turn. I think we will have an big increase in the margin this update and huge discounting on old stock and clearance of items will not be as drastic in the Boo world!

They are certainly the best brands we have, hopefully we can flog some of our garbage to shein too. They can have Miss Pap and Nasty girl 😂
