How are these trades going through but the SP isn’t moving…Can’t understand this share

Nice recovery so far today. Excess stock has completely killed ASOS for a few years. £1.1bn of stock they were holding…Nick Beighton a complete disaster for them. New CEO looks sharp and I think he will steer that ship although it will take time and I believe they will need to sell TS. Hopefully we do not get too coincided with them and we can start to diverge. We have managed this period far superior to them. Very cautious with overstocking but still spending on automation, growth and marketing to keep relevant. We will start to see the fruits of Sheffield automation and US distribution centre this next year, we will ramp up everything again when we see those long awaited “green shoots”

Good luck holders for tomorrow! I expect today to be a quiet day and tomorrow to be much more volatile. Expecting some news on recent speculation of Topshop, hopefully the sector gets some clarity about this.

Only thing that makes sense to me is that Ashley brokers a deal for BOO and ASOS to Shein. MA benefits from the sp rising at a premium to what he paid and he gets to cherry pick both Debenhams and Topshop. Shein takes the rest? Not an easy accomplishment as Kamani and Co own 25% here and Polvsen owns just under 30% of ASOS. Interesting times none the less

I don't think Frasers have the know how to operate fast fashion successfully. I think they will look to offload Missyempire and Isitfirst most probably to SHEIN if they have established that relationship already. SHEIN have the financial firepower to take out BOO and ASOS if they wanted. Valued at $66bn, like I mentioned a sleeping giant has awoken.

This is exactly what we need. Merger and acquisitions in this sector will spook the shorters here. BOO has a strong balance sheet and it is not in any kind of financial trouble (unlike ASOS) we will need be pressured into any fire sales of our assets. If they do sell Topshop brands I hope they can achieve close to what they paid for it. That will show real value to both BOO and ASOS.

Thought there would be a response to press speculation RNS this morning. ASOS are very shy when it comes to announcements they do often keep there holders in the dark…

Only a matter of time until Shein moves for BOO

I’m sure the topshop/topman brand is one of ASOS’s fastest growing brands. If they could get £265m back it would represent great business in this climate. Half of the market cap of a £3.5pm revenue business. Big Mike isn’t the only one seeing value here!

This is picking up some traction now, could spark some interest here too. We have a portfolio of 13 brands, although I don’t think we will be selling any of ours?

Average 0.23 for me so not to far away but not seeing any movement only south….might be equity raise until bust at this rate…or could massively spike on any good news. Have seen shell companies worth more than £3m

Another 52 week low here. £2.6m market cap. Absolute peanuts. Is this going bust? No updates regarding any future orders and the new TrueVue system.

I’m becoming more positive again after we kitchen sinked our last results. I can see BOO going on a Santa run this year!

I think most are forgetting this company made £93m of profit in 2020-2021. This is valued for failure. 24-25 will look much brighter
