When we look at how the share price has fallen since the Investor Meets event on 1/8/24 to today (c. 7% on top of a 17% fall in the preceding fortnight) I'm pinning the 'blame' for that on the diminution in forecast revenue which was revealed in that presentation. I do think it is remarkable that the company brokers did not deem that to be sensitive information and therefore worthy of a proper announcement. A cut in forecasts of somewhere between 20 & 33% certainly felt significant to me. The parroting of information by so called analysts and their subsequent fantastical share price targets don't constitute meaningful research in any sense of the word.

Now, some participants on this board will no doubt deride that as trolling but, rather than doing that, why not posit alternative views with some back up thoughts?

It would be better to do that and have an actual debate rather than pander to the likes of CN who maintains that the cracker is in commercial (i.e. revenue generating) activity when there is absolutely nothing to suggest that is the case, and that orders are rolling in for generator units when again that is palpably untrue.

You're right, RH - it's no the same company as it was a decade ago. Shame the share price is though! Any long-term holder of this who isn't utterly peed off with things is a lunatic.

I have been invested for well over a decade. Of course there are more negative feelings than positive ones!

Most of my investments, thank the lord, are in collectives and AFC are far and away my biggest individual company investment. I am just bewildered by the likes of CN who just posts endless rehashes of old news (plus the occasional interesting nugget, which then gets buried by the spam) while utterly refusing to enter into any meaningful debate.

As I have said there are lots pf potential developments that would transform this company into what all us shareholders want to see but it's just absolute madness to think that they will all come off, as some appear to do.

Did he say 'every day'. Surely you can't take everything at absolute, full gospel, face value? Things just aren't black and white, there are lines to be read between.

I asked you yesterday, CN, but as usual if something doesn't fit your narrative you ignore it. What is happening to the 400kg of hydrogen that the cracker is producing daily? Stop confusing valid questions with a desire to see the company crash and burn because I can assure you that's the last thing I want.

Kenny, you are so one-eyed on this that it's just got ridiculous. We are invested in a company that has generated minimal revenue, has slashed its current year revenue forecasts by a third and has delivered, to the best of our knowledge, single figure (and that's stretching it) numbers of units.

Now it may well turn around, and I hope it does, but to insist multiple times daily that all is well is just plain stupid I'm afraid.

And there's the issue, CN. Is it 'when' or 'if'? Because there certainly aren't any guarantees available.

I can only assume, Tennents, that you are either hard of reading or that you've had too much of the eponymous brew - because I didn't say that. Do feel free to point out where I did. What I said was that the shares are at a four year low, and i should have said close to rather than at. If you can find anyone which give a tuppeny toss about the difference between that four year low and the price now I'd be mighty surprised.

As for doomster troll - lovely phrase but completely divorced from reality. Yes, the company has more promising possibilities than at any time during its existence but there are precious few signs of any of them reaching their potential any time soon, and the market clearly agrees.

I'd like this to go up as much as anyone as I am significantly invested but blind optimism has had its day.

That's maybe a little pedantic Tennents. I'll rephrase it then to - the price is close to a four year low (I doubt whether the difference between 11.28 and 13.9 is of much interest to many), is c. 83% down on the high during that period., 55% down over two years and c. 75% down over three years. Great.

I could be wrong, CN, but I don't think you are the same person as Haggis or whatever he's called now. But you may as well be given your one-eyed approach and absolute conviction that all is well and it is only a matter of time until the share price multiplies many times.

If you have no concerns despite the absolute fact that the share price has cratered and is now at a four year low then you are certifiable

As far as we are aware, Acciona have leased one unit with an option to buy. Great, it's progress, but it's not material and it's hardly evidence of commitment. I'd imagine the revenue it will generate during the lease period will be so minimal it could even be less than the cost of shipping it.

Bond says that the cracker won't generate revenue until 2025 so what are they doing with this 400kg a day?

this isn't cynical, it isn't trolling - it's just obvious concerns from a shareholder. Do you not have any concerns, CN? I assume you are well under water . the reduction by a third in forecast revenue (don't understand how that wasn't a required regulatory announcement) certainly concerned me.

As far as Tamgo saying they won't buy any until they have firm orders I'm really struggling to get my head round that. Soi they're plugging the system but if they get an order they'll say, Oh, we haven't actually got any, we'll get back to you when they've been built?

It's high risk, Daz, and always has been. It is inevitable that some 'deals' will come to fruition and some won't. But it's beyond dispute that the failures thus far have greatly outweighed the successes and also that the market has become increasingly sceptical. We all, well almost everybody, knows that the only thing that will get this moving upwards is significant commercial income.

CN. It is now 4.5 months since the £27m 'order book' was reported and since then the share price is down by c. 40%. If you think having that is the be all and end all, so more important than getting real ordees confirmed, made, delivered and paid for then you're a fantasist.
