Just enter into a debate you narcissist. You do post some useful links but you also regurgitate stuff that is old news for no obvious reason and you utterly refuse to acknowledge that anybody else is entitled to any view. If you haven't noticed this share is down by c. 50% this year and about two thirds over the last 20 months or so. There is the possibility of multiple views having validity.

When all you do is wax lyrical about the upside and litter everything with exclamation marks then that's not part of a debate - that's ramping. And all the more so when you refuse to enter into any sort of debate with anyone who sees other sides of a debate. I know there is great potential here, it's why I am invested, but I also know we have been on the cusp more times previously than I care to recall over a period of multiple years - and that is why debate is good rather that one eyed bullishness - which I interpret as ramping. You r accusation that I am 'derailing' just proves the point. Emphatically.

The agreement re 136 units is oddly specific but certainly very positive but realism is important. That size of order is not transformative; it's important and if it goes well then hopefully more will follow but it must be a trial of sorts and no guarantees are available. There's no need to ramp everything; it stifles any [prospect of a proper debate

It's possible that's right, CN. But it is something I as an investor want to be aware of definitively - it was a pretty significant development and very, very strange that it was not the subject of a proper announcement

Agreed Stas - we are clearly now commercial and it has become a matter of scale. The last Investor Meets dropped the bomb that forecast revenue was reduced by a third and I still struggle to understand how the company's advisers allowed that to happen without a formal announcement. I suppose that raises the possibility (wrong though it would be!) that actual news rather than general information may emerge but, realistically, we are looking for tone rather than detail.

What I'd really like to know is how much of the £4m revenue has really come from third parties. The existence of SHS is a confusion which could clearly mean that the real number, and therefore the extent of commercial traction, is rather different.

One assumes the FD will be involved in the presentation - who else? The new CEO does not take over until January next year so I wouldn't be expecting him to play much of a part if any. I'd assume the Chairman will lead.

It's not realistic to expect big news during the course of the meeting - it is possible that some will emerge before then but we've been down that route of hope and expectation a few times now!

killjoy. there is still the chance for realistic appraisal here; after all, the share price, despite yesterday's very welcome boost, is at a level that every long term holder would have been absolutely appalled by only a few months back.

absolutely be encouraged/reassure by yesterday's trading update but the points made by sono***un are 100% valid. we hope for a positive investor meets on thursday (i wonder who is presenting?) but it is more likely to be positive in tone rather than in terms of major news - far too many times people have assumed that such events will inevitably be accompanied by material positive developments but that has rarely been the case thus far.

we can certainly be confident that the company will not be moving into profit imminently and while that is the case we really need the momentum that only cold, hard increases in orders can bring.

It would be possible to have cogent thoughts and a rational debate if there is an explanation of 17.5p but if it's just a guess then what's the point?

Not mentioning ABB is not a failure, Derek. This is a trading update - an update on ABB will come as and when we are actually trading with them.

But, CN, Gitfinger has a point. The sales to Speedy Hire Services are to a joint venture company so there isn't £4.0m of income coming in from outside the group - that's just a fact. What we need to know is how much lease revenue they are generated when they are taken on by Speedy's clients. Today is a big relief but let's not think we've achieved total transparency and all is ambrosial. We have moved in the right direction today but it's a small step along the route.

I think you probably mean RBC. But there is inevitably a cynicism regarding broker forecasts and valuations - they do tend to be rather optimistic. The value of an asset is determined by what someone is prepared to pay for it or what the market values it at.

It has become a very odd obsession and there's no way Mr 123 will be admitting he may have been wrong. There were three principal areas in the budget that were relevant to AFC yesterday. Every man and his dog knew about the NI rise. Every man and his cat knew there was a fair chance that tax breaks for AIM stocks would be reduced but that has no impact on running the business. And re the hydrogen initiatives there was always a fair chance there'd be something positive re green energy, but again no impact at all on the business of selling generators to the construction industry.

So I have no idea what anyone thought might be in the budget that would justify putting everything on hold for months and I've not heard anyone suggest anything that could have done.

Big firms maybe in a position to 'clean' up. We need there to be a demonstrable need for our specific tech and for buyers to line up and pay for it. That may come but it won't be as a result of any announcements made today.
