Is it debatable. Why on earth would any long term holder - who by definition has seen the price getting for ten times higher than it is today - be happy with their investment? That would seem like madness to me, not to you?

I'll qualify that then. Any long term holder who is completely happy at present is a fool because they will have experienced a lot of false dawns and there is no evidence yet that any of the promising situations will break that long established trend

A serious question. Is there a broker out there who would actually facilitate a small private investor shorting an AIM stock? Doubt it in the regulatory world they inhabit. For a start they would have to get that investor to agree to opt up to be treated as a professional client and the FCA has been having a crackdown for the last couple of years on firms who do that. Just not good business for a broker at all.

Well that stirred up a real hornet's nest! You have posted several times about frustration and disappointment - does that make you a shorter? Wouldn't have thought so. That's all I'm doing while pointing out some facts. if you want to debate about any of the points I have made then bring it on. Anybody who is completely happy with their investment in this is clearly an absolute fool - that's just beyond any form of rational dispute.

For pity's sake. they are not negative - they are realistic. I'm not coming on here spouting nonsense; just have a look at what I've put and see what you disagree with and I'd be very happy to debate it because not everything is black and white.

I very much agree that we have a number of apparently promising situations I could have written that phrase throughout 2020/1/2/3/4 (and before on several occasions) and yet here we are with minimal sales and a trashed share price. If you treat those undeniable facts as overwhelmingly positive then good for you, but I am a very long term shareholder who is seriously peed off about what has(n't) transpired over that decade plus

There is simply no disputing that Speedy is an unsuccessful tiddler. Just over £200m turnover and a market cap of £133m allied to a dismal stockmarket performance over a very long period of time (it is over 90% down since its peak over 17 years ago)

Do you think it matters that the £4m largely came from sales to a joint venture - so presumably were funded to a material extent by AFC?

Do you believe it is important that we find out how much equipment has actually been rented out and is operational? Because we have no idea.

To have any revenue beyond grants is good but hose numbers are very long way from phenomenal because a large percentage increase from very very little is not significant in the wider picture.

Make of it whatever you will but like ours, Speedy's share price is close to a five year low. It's hard to conclude that renting stuff out to construction companies is a lucrative business.

Where are Peel Hunt these days and their oft touted 195p that you tried to put forward as credible more times than I would care to remember?

There really should be some accountability for these wildly optimistic broker targets. 195 wasn't it, from Peel Hunt I think?, not that long ago.

Describing sales into a joint venture as being strong is stupidly naive - we need details of what happened to those units afterwards and whether they are out actually generating revenue.

But his is the issue Ginger! Yes, there has ben lots of superficially good news but absolutely nothing that confirms genuine commercial activity. We have:

A unit on trial with Acciona

A unit purchased for demonstration purposes by Tamgo

Some income via SHS but no knowledge at all of the nature of that income. Just receiving £4m from a company that we own 50% of does not smack of mass adoption of units

It's very simple we need details of mass COMMERCIAL adoption.

It's just nonsense to keep saying it is being 'held back'. There is one outfit shorting at a disclosable level and showing no signs of exiting that position; quite the reverse. To date they have been proven to be correct in their view of the company's near term prospects.

The business update was clearly a result of getting past the company's year end, nothing at all to do with the budget or the election. There clearly wasn't and still isn't any major news to release.

We all want news or, more accurately, we all want good, hard positive commercial news. There has been, literally, nothing that fits that description all year. The odd trial here, the odd bit of progress on a product there but as far as real news about commercially generating power and income? Nada.

I'm a little confused about your views on the relevance of the UK budget and the US election. As I recall the debate, the contention was that the issues potentially arising from those events were so significant that company news was effectively in stasis? Is that fair?

As it turned out there were measures that affected the company in the budget but not particularly directly more than thousands of other businesses and who knows just how Trump madness may manifest itself over his term as President.

So as there has been no news since those two events which have disappeared into history now I'm not really sure how you can claim to have been bang on about their relevance? I could have said there'd be no news until my Aunt Ethel had passed her 97th birthday and I'd have been bang on about that despite its obvious irrelevance.

We hope for news on ABB & TAMGO and we long for clarity on the actual nature of the £4m of revenue but as yet nothing material has emerged on any of those vital topics.

We are where we are because the year of delivery has delivered very little and that is an utterly inescapable conclusion.

The Investor Meets call was hugely bullish re the cracker but it's patently obvious that whatever value that may or may not have is highly unlikely to be recognised in the share price unless and until it becomes genuinely commercial. It is not overly cynical given the number of false dawns we have experienced to take an 'I'll believe it when I see it' attitude to that - in fact it would be madness to do otherwise.

Any indication of capacity here? Is this is a unit hat is commercially viable or just a demonstrator?

If they manage to sell this for something in the hundreds of millions and that is reflected in the share price I'll be out quicker Than Kwasi Kwarteng from No. 11 Downing Street.

One has to assume, Tweedly, that CN and his various alter egos think that relentless posting with minimal analysis will have some sort of positive impact on the share price. It's beyond argument that there is scant evidence thus far to support that theory. All he has really achieved is to pretty much shut down all meaningful debate as he constantly leaps all over any poster which wished to discuss anything at all. If they don't agree with him 100% then they can only be bad actors with a hidden agenda. It's a very odd hobby, but not quite as odd as popping up on AFC's LinkedIn posts as an unpaid company spokesman.

They were very specific and unusual circumstances, which don't apply today
