A 1p final dividend is probably good medicine to take if they can get the share price back to a respectable level. Still, a lot of work required with this company.

Given some of the optimistic target prices issued on this company, if we only get half way there I will be happy.

What, more than likely, will cause this fund to 'do a Woodford' and send people running for the doors is all of this non-factual and negative speculation. Most of this sector is down at the moment, probably a good time to reinvest dividends.

Looking at the 5 year chart, it is all very cyclic and the levels we are at now represent the usual lows (apart from Covid). On saying that, I would be surprised if it reached 355 as JP Morgan predicts but I doubt it will go much lower.

You have not lost money until you have sold. Everything (almost) is down at the moment, it is all cyclic.

HFEL is down around 5% on the week and around 22% on the past year. However, it is worth noting that the so-called notorisiously stable Legal and General is down around 5% on the week and over 19% on the past year. Nothing to do but to go on holiday and wait for the turnaround.

This is my only share that is showing an increase today. Not all bad.

My glass is half empty. We are not only looking at a 52 week low but if you look at the long term chart, we are more or less on a 30 year low.

Over the past 30 years, this stock has had a turbulent history to say the least, from less than 1 GBP to over 26 GBP. For over 10 years, around 2000 and 2010, it hovered between 5 GBP and 7 GBP. I am sure we would all be happy to see those days again. Who knows?

I buy this in moderate amounts to give some diversification in my portfolio and the dividends are decent. Also, it is good to exploit the volatility (when it happens). It is far safer than investing in a single mining/exploration company.

Rabnesbit, not a sell off but, after a stock goes ex-dividend, the share price typically drops by the amount of the dividend paid. Anyone buying today will not be entitled to the dividend.

I sold out and moved into ATT. Time will tell if it is the right move.

Well Snoop was worth £47 million at its last valuation so I wonder how much they wasted on that? IM says 'Snoop's market leading technology, will allow us to go from strength to strength.' We shall see.
