Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Ok, perhaps a little premature for the congrats of patient shareholders now the corner has been turned, the issue has always been AP has had the go big or go home mindset and Vast has been overstretched with the number and scale of projects, but in my defence, I know what’s coming and it’s going to be mega, I also criticised AP & co on the way down and had to average & trade to turn a big loss into profit but that is all in the past and will be long forgotten soon enough, no point arguing about the past or pi predictions going forward, we will see where we are in the coming months .

I can see the Mcap sat at around 200m in the not too distant future (10 x current) a small amount based on vast's portfolio of projects, so many of which have been long awaited but are about to mature, it's been a long slog for many of us but the sp appears to be about to rerate, the £20m+ of diamonds are simply a bonus but will be symbolically significant as Vast are once again allowed to mine in Zim.
Well done to holders who kept the faith and GL to more recent investors who are much less under water.
RD
No return for shareholders in the plan? but why not? it would be a pittance in the grand scheme of things.
It's a bit like pass the parcel with holdings here currently but nobody quite wants the music to stop, apart from the lenders who are setting up what can only be described as a coup.
Probably >95% chance of shares going to zero in truth but the small % chance of a return & rerate has many still hooked.
GL to them as it is after all the most exciting end of the business of investing.
The clock is ticking, peeps will either be in or out when the series of RNS's land.
the chance of news/update being released intraday is 50/50 based on previous announcements.
Shorts will squeeze, ii will load up and pi will either smile or kick themselves, it's coming so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
My PT is 14/15p.

2p per share return is about right with all current liabilities and cash in bank and monies du. DYOR
Today will be a tough one though.
GLA (excluding derampers)
By my reckoning a return to shareholders will be in the region of 2p, please DYOR
Disappointing for some that have a much higher average especially as in 12 months time the Mcap will be much higher with current shareholders now locked out.
After the creditors have been paid, surely there must be stock and equipment value over and above? If not where has the circa £6.5M gone in such a short space of time? TB was long gone before that amount of cash was in the bank.
Answers on a postcard.
The sp held up well to the debt deadline notice yesterday, I was expecting an after hours or 7:00 am RNS but then again Vast always seems to catch you out with timings.
It's still a sh*t or bust one for me but frankly they are the most exciting shares to be in so I'm holding and feeling fairly positive.
GLA
Big difference is NNN doesn't have £50m of orders in the pipeline!!
So it would just be a genuine company liquidation after failing to deliver.
IMO
Really? HTF do you manage to sell a business with 50M worth of orders for none pence, keep 23% of YOUR shares in Newco and shaft the shareholders into oblivion without any recompense?
Has Trevor Brown been giving advice to this lot??
Only on AIM
So the lenders have asked them to "take it off the market" of course they would it's operating as usual and will soon be worth $5 Billion+ The "proposed" plan does not provide for equity holder recovery.
"Their" plan may not, they obviously won't be wanting shareholders to own a large chunk of the Nerco
The judge however may have his own opinion.
If the Mcap is only a tiny $10m down at these levels then he will probably order a payout of a couple of pence a share ($20m)
for the out of pocket shareholders, it would be like a grain of sand in the ocean.
If the business were not operating as usual or indeed if Covid was not a massive contributing factor then he would most likely not take this view.
GLA holders.
RD
I think 2p-5p a share for existing holders would be palatable for most of the indebted entities, only a minuscule amount in the grand scheme of things less than 50m of the $5b but it would probably satisfy the judge and also allow for some small recompense for LTH especially if they have averaged down recently, if this was not on the table I believe the share would have been suspended by now. Cine is a going concern and likely to be making billions again IMO.
GLA
"Why not wait a week for the price to shoot over a penny, drift down to say 0.8, and then place at 0.75?"
It could be 4/5 weeks before that happens, they clearly have momentum with production and the raise is to maintain that.
It is a bit like waiting for a bus here, all paydays are going to arrive together it seems.
